Nice Things To List

Good afternoon there reader!

Today is the last day of the challenge, like omg 30 days had passed already?! 

For the very last theme, it is honoring nails I love. As defind by ChalkboardNails, it is "doing nails inspired by a particular manicure or a nail artist that you love and admire". 

I follow a lot of YouTube and Instagram nail accounts that are all super amazing. However, I boiled down to my fave, Jaunty Juli (IG//YT)! She makes amazing nail art tutorials and when I found her channel, I started watching all her videos :D

So, I did one of her tutorials called Pop Paradise. I am very happy with the end result! It really looks so cool with the pop art effect and it wasn't exactly hard, but it was a little time consuming. However, every minute spent was worth it! (Except that some of my dots smudged *cries*)

Today's mani is inspired by a tutorial and is something I wanted to try for quite some time! It is the one and only Quatrefoil design that I first saw from ChristabellNails on YouTube.

For this mani, I used OPI - My Vampire is Buff as the base color, then the brown is Revlon - Totally Toffee using dotting tools and a small nail art brus for the small lines.

Today's theme is supernatural, and a friend of mine suggested aliens and spaceships. So here I have just that! 

For my base, I had two coats of piCture pOlish - Cosms and then teared up a sponge and dabbed on NCLA - Lightyears Ahead & F.U.N. Lacquer - Anna. 

Then for the green alien heads, I used Kure Bazaar - Carioca and a-England - Camelot for the eyes. I also drew on a spaceship which I feel looks like a kindergarten drawing LOL. But I guess it looks cute!

Today's inspiration is based on a flag, and the first country flag that came to mind was the Union Jack! First off, I have to share with you that I am a huge British Monarchy fan *blushes*. I just find the whole essence and history of Britain so amazing.

For today's mani, I followed one of CutePolish's YouTube tutorial and added an accent glitter. For base color, I used Sephora's Formula X - Omni. As for the accent glitter, I had one layer of Sinful Colors - Queen of Beauty and then a layer of Happy Hands - I Just Blue Myself. I love how the glitter came out!

Today's theme is rather interesting! A mani inspired by artwork. I was scrolling through Society6 and came across this artwork which I find was really simple yet looks really chic!

I did some simple arrows going across two nails and followed the artwork above on my accent nail and then doing some free style verticle arrows on my baby finger.

For the base color I used OPI - My Vampire is Buff and I used small detailed brushes and black acrylic paint for the arrows. My letter 'S' is not really that nice LOL, I have to work on those curved lines using the brushes!

Oh well, I guess my fave part of this mani is the arrows across two nails! Love that effect, what do you think?

Today's mani is inspired by fashion! I can't say that I am very fashionable LOL because I don't even wear dresses or skirts that often. But I do know how to appreciate fashion! Anyway, I came across this on Lookbook.nu and thought I would use it as an inspiration.

Hello there!

I'm sure you reader might know the hype about The Fault In Our Stars, right? If you do, this is nothing surprising! For today's mani, I took upon CutePolish's YouTube tutorial and did a TFIOS nail art look! I found this picture online where it looks rather similar to my mani:

For this mani, I had quite a hard time with the newspaper prints. I don't know if its the rubbing alcohol I used or is it the newspaper I used :/ In any case, it turned out pretty alright! I also had a hard time trying to squeeze in all the words and punctuation LOL!

So, my final nail art looks like this! I also added in the iconic Toy Story logo to the mani.

Hello darlings!

When it comes to a color, I can only think of my favorite color, BLUE! Next, I thought what reminds me of blue and things such as the sky and ocean came to mind. Then I scanned through my nail rack and China Glaze - Water You Waiting For caught my eye.

This polish is amazing, I've swatched it HERE. So I decided to do fishy scale-y nails! I painted on two coats of WYWF and then I drew on scallop patterns to resemble fish scales.

Today's theme must be my fav cuase I've been loving marbling a lot recently! Today's water marble color combination is blue and orange! Featuring Essie - Avenue Maintain and Sally Hansen - Fired Up.

Hi there readers! Today's mani is based on galaxies, whooooo~ First of all, let me start off with saying that I did try this mani a long time ago but failed horribly, hence I gave up (like I did with water marbling). 

However, this 31 day challenge gave me the opportunity and motivation to try out galaxy nail art again. I am proud to say, that I succeeded! YAY! I was really genuinely happy, HAHA! Look at the end result:

I think what I did right this time was that I teared up my make up sponge instead of just applying polish onto the original sponge. 

Firstly, I painted two coats of a dark navy blue with pretty silver glints (Seventeen - Navy Glint). Then I used the teared up sponge and white polish to create shapes of the nebula. 

After which, I went in to cover the white spaces with yellow, blue and pink. I used OPI - I Just Can't Cope-acabana, L.A. Colors - 63 and  L.A. Colors - 11, respectively.

Next, I was looking at my nail polish rack and my eyes set on F.U.N. Lacquer's Anna (swatch here). I then thought, why not include this awesome holographic blue-purple sheen to spice up the galaxy? I then sponged on some of Anna, and boy was there such a huge difference! Go back up to the mani and if you see any holo or purple sheen, it's Anna!

After that, I drew on some stars and dots with white acrylic paint. Lastly, I topped all with China Glaze - Fairy Dust.
