Hello hello!

The next prompt for the challenge is watermelon, well it is still very summery in Singapore as it does almost every day of the year LOL.

Here I did some cute watermelon designs,all free hand drawn.

I've done watermelon nails before and I wanted something different. This time I created the watermelon ice cream, which I thought was pretty cool and cute! This was partly inspired by my mouse that had cartoon ice cream images.

Today I have another fruity nail art! I did one not too long ago here. This time around we aren't going for the cute cartoony look. I came across two nail artists' work; ane_li and nailstorming. I decided to put both their designs together and create this lemon-y fruity nail art!

For the base colors I had on Essie "Cute As A Button" and OPI "My Boyfriend Scales Walls". I added Glisten & Glow "HK Girl Top Coat" after they dried and then went in with yellow, green and black acrylic paint for the design. I was so happy when I realised the name of the yellow acrylic paint was "Lemon Yellow", how apt!!

Anyway, I am so very pleased with how these turned out! Oh, have I forgot to mention that these fruit nail art is done for the HPB June link-up? Well, now I did :P I'm glad that I'm keeping up with these monthly HPB nail art! Please do see other nail bloggers who did their fruity manicures below :)

I have taken today's 'fruit' prompt to a more cutesy level :P I was sourcing for some ideas on the web and I came across this image and thought I could replicate this manicure on to my nails.

For the base polish, I actually chose it because it's printed on Essence "Fruity" so I had had to use it right? This is Essence "Mashed Berries" and I admit that I have not worn this enough to remember how nice the specks of purple glitter are. I applied a top coat over the base polish to get ready for the drawing.

I sketched out the shapes of the fruits using white acrylic paint and adjusted the shapes by using a toothpick and fine-tuning it. For the apple I used Dior "Traflagar" a pretty red, Barry M "Wakaki" for the body of the pear and the leaves on the apple and the pear. The banana had on OPI "I Just Can't Cope-acabana" and the orange was a mix of Sally Hansen "Fired Up" and Rimmel London "Reggae Spalsh".

I outlined the fruits with black acrylic paint and game them eyes, a cute small smile and pinkish cheeks using Essie "Cute As A Button", another fitting name of polish for this look eh? :'D

I added Wet N Wild "Matte Top Coat" after applying Glisten & Glow "HK Girl Top Coat" and that's how I did this look! These came out better than I anticipated, so I guess this is where I say... good job me!

Today I have a watermelon nail art design!Looking all so summery right?!

I was inspired by two people. First I came across The Nail Trial's video which had three watermelon designs which I found apt for this challenge. Next I was reminded of Ohmygosh Polish's video from way back and decided to replicate the melon stripes too!

For my pointer finger, I applied two coats of Miss Sporty "Green Whisperer" and then went in with Revlon "Trendy" and create messy lines down the nail. My the other nails I used OPI "My Boyfriend Scales Walls" as the base color. On my middle finger I did a gradient using Miss Sporty "Green Whisperer", OPI "My Boyfriend Scales Walls" and Sinful Colors "Island Coral" by using a sponge and creating the ombre effect. Then I used black polish to create the seeds. On my ring finger I did a patterned watermelon design using a detail brush and the same colors as before. On my pinky I used "Island Coral" brush from the bottle itself and swiped down halfway and then filled the top area near my cuticles with the green. This mani was pretty easy to do yet it seems there is a lot going on! Feels so fresh looking at my nails now :P

Evening readers!!

It's day 4 of the challenge and it's green nails. This time I did a less strange nail art (compared to my previous traffic cone inspiration LOL) and I went with kiwi nails! I love love kiwi!! It is one of the most interesting fruits, don't you think?

I used Kure Bazaar "Carioca"on all my nails. Then I used Sinful Colors "Snow Me White" and "Black On Black" for the details. I actually went ahead and follow Cute Polish's tutorial, make sure you watch it! It's a rather old video, but still works anyway :D

Tell me how you find this look!! Yay or nay? Cause I did have my reservations for the dots and all... hmmm

It's been a while, eh? Today I am sharing with you another collab I did with my fellow Nailies! Previously, we did daisy inspired nail art and this month we decided to continue the collab with fruit-themed!

Here is a close up of my mani, I followed OhMyGoshPolish YouTube tutorial and it turned out pretty alright! I also added an accent striped design and am pretty proud of my lines! They've gotten better over time, yay!

I think the best part of this retro style bananas is that the design is not meant to be perfect! The somehow messy jagged outlines brings out the whole retro pop-art feel to it and I like it a lot, plus it's really cute! Don't you think?
