Dotity, dotty, dot!
Well well, it's time to get my brains going cray-cray! In this manicure I was struggling to visualize which dots should be placed at which areas because there are just so many DOTS!
I used Kure Bazaar - Hipster as the base color and OPI - I Just Can't Cope-acabana for the dots. I used a medium sized and small sized dotting tool for this mani.
I am pretty sure I followed a fellow nailstagrammer but I honestly lost my screenshot of her design! So if you do know who the clever person is, do let me know :)
Tbh, the main purpose of this mani was to try out the color combination. No lying here on the blog! Hence I thought this nail art was a good opportunity to find out! I think that yes, yellow and gray goes pretty nicely together, don't you think?

Hi there again fellow reader!
Now, you have already seen the swatches to the
first three polishes from the OPI Coca-cola Travel Exclusive mini collection. Here is the second half of it!
Coca-Cola Red is a super duper uber bright vibrant straight out red. Basically the iconic Coca-Cola red as the name speaks for itself. This polish has absolute awesome formula. One coat is 90% opaque, you could get away with one careful coat but two does the best job. Here is two coats with G&G HK Girl top coat.
(Under artificial lighting)
Coca-Cola red reminds me of two things; Christmas and Singapore Airline's Stewardess' iconic red nails.
(Outdoors in shade)
Get Cherried Away is a deep royal-purple plum shade which is so special because I do not own many purple toned polishes. This shade is very very winter appropriate! The formula of GCA is perfect, an ease to apply.
On the first coat there was som visible nail line (VNL) however the second coat covered all up well. Under some lighting you could see more purple undertones while in others it looks like a deep maroon with more red showing. Swatches are in two coats with G&G HK Girl top coat.
(Under artificial lighting)
GCA is a really interesting color to me and it reminds me of red wine HAHA! Besides that, the clean up around the cuticles for this polish is (I must admit) very hard. Reds and purples are known to be hard for clean ups and to add on this polish is on the darker toned side which makes it harder!
Nonetheless, I still find this polish making me feel sophisticated with its rich color.
(Outdoors in shade)
Moving on to the last polish from this mini travel exclusive collection, is the one and only glitter polish. I must say that it is the only polish I was looking forward to! So, without any further ado let's get into it!
Today I Accomplished Zero is an glitter polish with a black base packed with ruby rich red
tiny and small hexagon pieces.
The first coat of polished made me very worried. The black base was so sheer I almost thought it would be a 4 - 5 coater. Luckily, it is opaque in 3 coats! Hence swatches to come are in three coats with G&G HK Girl top coat.
I must say that TIAZ is a very special and different kind of glitter polish. The red glitter is bright however not the overly bling type, which matches well with the dark black base. Really do like this combination.
(Under artificial lighting)
I have actually used this polish once prior to swatching in my Halloween nail art and in that manicure, I used it over a black base and another glitter polish. I was more pleased when swatching to find out that it could be used without a black base color first. I think it is better on it's own as the red glitter will be more dense as compared to layering one coat over black.
(Outdoors in shade)
Well, of course glitters do not just go off my post without a macro *winks* So ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the macro shot!!
(Outdoors in shade)
Overall, I do like this collection quite a lot as there are more unusual colors compared to my usual blues. I might just have a slightly more liking for reds already LOL! What do you think of them? Let me know on my social networks below :)

Hello there dear reader!
Today I have a long post on an OPI collection! And it is the Coca-Cola Collection! My Dad got me this travel exclusive mini collection form the airport when he returned from a business trip, how sweet ^^
There are six polishes in this travel exclusive collection. To my knowledge, the original Coca-Cola OPI Collection has nine shades, so this is like the smaller version. Well, first of all, I would like to admire the packaging, it's so cute and so iconic! The red just does it all~
Now, let's move on to individual polishes!
You're So Vain-illa is a creme nude with hints of brown-ish and yellow-ish undertones. It's formula was better than I expected, a tad streaky on first coat but leveled well on the second. This polish does reminds me of OPI - My Vampire is Buff, could be an almost-dupe for it actually! Here's two coats with Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat.
(Under artificial lighting)
(Outdoors in shade)
Turn On the Haute Light is rather sheer on the first coat, however was opaque in two coats. The formula was on the average side, however still very workable.
This soft silver is rather chrome-metallic but not too over, which is nice. It also dries matte but as I put over a top coat, there isn't much change which was really great cause I preferred the original finish.
(Under artificial lighting)
I must say that TOTHL is nothing like anything in my stash. I am really impressed that there were some visible reflections from my nails and that this silver doesn't show any ridges and imperfections like brush strokes, that's a plus point!
And this swatch taken outdoors does give me the diet coke can feels! Super love!
(Outdoors in shade)
Sorry I'm Fizzy Today is a coral-ish pink creme that is surprisingly so bring that it is almost a neon! I really was pleasantly surprised by this polish! The first coat was rather hard to apply, however all was great by the second. I still think you can go for a third, you know just in case ;)
I must say that I stared at my nails longer than I should haha! It dries glossy and with a top coat made it even more glossy! Totally would rock this color more, it is so flattering to wear this!

Stay tuned for the part two of this collection *winks*

Well good Sunday everyone!
Today I have a quick swatch of OPI's My Boyfriend Scales Walls (MBSW). This polish is off white, leaning towards a soft grey, but not at all considered grey. I often grab for MBSW as a base for my nail art, because it makes a really great canvas. Swatched is two coats, without any top coat!
The formula is good, however it is definitely streaky on the first coat - not gonna lie. However by the second coat, it was all leveled out pretty well. Also, it has a high shine as shown above despite applying any top coat.
Also, usually for white (or in this cause off white) polishes they tend to be goopy very fast like OPI - Alpine Snow, BUT this is not the same. After using this since March (5 months now) there is no goopiness or thickness going on in there.
I feel this is a must have for a nail artist. So if you're just starting out, do get this!!

Hello there lovely reader!
It's been a long time eh? Unfortunately I broke a nail :'( and hence went back to using OPI's Nail Envy to strengthen my nails for almost a week (couldn't stand my naked nails). Here is what's left of my Nail Envy LOL. I'm really running low on this baby!
So last Tuesday, I posted on Instagram my naked nails so that I could do a comparison shot. At last, 6 looooong days passed by and I have the before and after! My left hand wasn't a problem at all. Nothing fancy to talk about LOL.
For the more interesting part, my right hand where I broke a nail. As seen in the before picture it looked kinda bad. On day 2, I filed it to even out the ugliness. And ta-da! Take a look at day number 6!
Pretty amazing huh? Please exucuse the orange mark on my index and the yellow on my ring finger. I was doing some nail art on my practice wheel and accidentally got my nails some color HAHA! Anyway, back to serious stuff.
I think that this before and after is the most evident picture to show the improvement. In the first picture, you could sort of see through where my nail broke (which scared some of my friends) and in the after picture it doesn't see through anymore!
Also, I would like to add that I had used Nail Envy a couple of times before (duh, I have so little of the product left!!) and applied it to nails that broke. To be more specific, I broke my left and right thumbnails and they NEVER (up till this date) gave way. Which is pretty sweet, using Nail Envy to rescue and not get them broken again!
It is however, a bit pricey. But hey, sometimes you gotta invest in good stuff right?

Lemming shot down!
Hello girlfriends, today I have yet another swatch. This OPI is second hand, and hence the price was much cheaper. Plus it looked brand new! I was supposed to be on a no-buy and then I came across this nail polish listing and I'm like, HOW CAN I MISS THIS?
Anyway, I got it and... I'm loving it! Yet another nude shade, more beige, nothing similar in my collection. I have been lemming this for a while because I have seen/read nail bloggers/YouTubers/Instagrammers rave and rave about this polish. And seeing so many swatches make me swoon.
Alas, it is now it my stash! Here is a bottle shot, it somehow matches well with my table cloth. Which just sparked an idea in my head *grins*
My Vampire is Buff is a creamy white nude with the tiniest hint of the lightest shade of brown. The application was rather hard, a bit streaky unfortunately. However two coats was all I needed.
Swatches are two coats with Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat. Thanks for reading!

Hello guys!
Today I have a polish that isn't in my stash, but why? This bottle of OPI is my Mom's and so I just 'innocently' used it for today's swatch ^^
Barre My Soul is a very pretty pink, sheer, nude, with hints of yellow undertones to it. I think that this polish was also meant to be worn not opaque (as seen in my French mani post). However, I dislike sheer finish so the swatch is in three coats. I can't say it is opaque, but it is enough for my liking.
This soft pink is really elegant. It makes my nails look so classy all of a sudden. Although 3 coats for each finger is quite a lot, I think it was really worth it!
This ring was recently given to me by my Mom, who kept it since she was 20-ish. Loved how they pair up so nicely. Pretty pretty pretty~

As some of you might know, I am a huge fan of Katy Perry. I am a legit KatyCat. I have 12 magazines of her on the cover, and basically my room is filled with her. I have been wanting to get this collection for quite some time but I always can't find it sold as a set with her face. One day I chanced upon a seller and I just had to get it!
*All swatches are two coats without topcoat
First off, The One That Got Away. The
music video is one of my favorites, you have to watch it! This polish is the most opaque out of the collection, I could've gotten away with just one but for swatch purposes, they are all two coats!
TOTGA is a dark berry red with shimmers in it. Applies easily and fully opaque as shown, formula is non-streaky!
Last Friday Night is a fun song. Even the music video is so hilarious I laughed crying LOL. For this swatch, I dabbed the polish instead of applying it normally. I thought that it wouldn't be dense enough so I dabbed instead.
The blue sparkles are just perrrrrfect! The only drawback is the opacity. As seen on many reviews, it is really a very sheer polish. However, you still will not be disappointed with the colour. The blue is just so glittery I can't not look at it!
Next we have Teenage Dream! A song about love! This is by far, my favorite out of the entire collection!
This pink with hints of champagne and silver glitter stole my heart. It is just a perfect combination. I like that fact that there are ultra fine glitter at the base and also bigger silver glitter that shines so bright! I would go for 3 coats for this (:
Last but not least... Not Like The Movies!
For this swatch, I painted my nail pure black and then added two coats of NLTM. When I applied it over black, MAGIC HAPPENED. I see purple, silver, green shades at different angles and I was like WOAH. It is a duochrome, and the very first I own. Probably the reason why I was so amazed by it LOL. The only problem is that when applying, you can see some streaks. Other than that, all is pretty pretty!
I have come to the end of the collection, YAY! This is the first time I own a full collection (however these are just minis). Hope this is helpful to all you readers (and KatyCats)!
