I'm very happy with my title hehe!

Lemme decipher for you, the base color I used is Charlie's Rad Lacquer - The Sky Is SOOOOOO Blue and the birds were stamped on from MoYou London Suki 08 plate.

I'll be honest, I thought up this mani based on The Sky Is Soooooo Blue, I was thinking what I could do around this polish so here is what I did!

I'm so captivated by TSISB, it has glitters and with loads and loads of holographic-ness going on!

I used the birdies on the plate as you can see below. For this look I did reverse stamping and loved how it turned out. Although in the macro shots you may see imperfections...

BUT WHO CARES?!?! Macro glorious shot shows off TSISB so well! I love how I could have the mountain image below the flying birds, so pretty! I did wished though that I placed the decal a little lower so that the mountain is nicely at the tip of my nail.

Hi ya there!

Today I have a water marble design! Haven't had one in a long time eh? So today I would be using Charlie's Rad Lacquer polishes. I used Trust, a slate blue metallic like polish and Veau's Voodoo a nice purple holographic polish.

I had a black base on for this mani, which I used a-England - Camelot. For the water marble you can see how I did it at the end of this post where I'll embed my Instagram video tutorial for you :) First let's have a look at how my mani turned out!

I overall do like this look, the only thing that bugs me is that the black undie that I had were quite visible as I was cleaning up the mess around the cuticles, the black showed through :( Sadness aside, here are some happy macros :)

Time for some owl nail art! Today I am trying out Bornprettystore's stamping plate Qgirl-036. There are seven cute detailed designs of owls and some other designs too. I was amazed at the detail of the design, and I am happy to say that when I tried stamping, I was pleased.

I honestly had a hard time deciding which owls to put on my nail! They are all soooooo cute! I was especially drawn to the biggest owl (the one right above the letters HOO HOO) because of the amount of details in the owl.

For this mani, I used reverse stamping but without any colors. Basically, I tried a few times to pick up the best image and let it dry for a while on the stamper. Then, I applied a layer of top coat over it and then waited for it to dry completely. Next I removed the 'sticker' of the owl using a pair of tweezers and place it on the nail.

This is how my owl-y manicure turned out! I used Charlie's Rad Lacquer - Peace Ain't Easy as the base and then using Konad Black stamping polish for the owls and the cage.

Here is a closer look at the details of the owl! I don't know how many times I've said 'detail' in this post LOL. I particularly love the top row of owl, the first one looks like a dreamy, sleepyhead owl which is such a cutie, and the second one looks really awesome! That's the one that I love out of all the owls!

I used a BPS and MoYou London stamper for this manicure and an old card to scrape polish off. I felt that this plate spells CUTE. It is also really easy to use it and I think that stamping needs practice, so don't give up, keep trying and you'll get nice crisp images :)

Today's post is all about the holo! Featuring Charlie's Rad Lacquer's Dreamy Lilac that I got at half price from a sale somewhere last year in June. I only got it recently as my friend from the States has returned to Singapore.

Anyway, getting back to Dreamy Lilac! I am usually not the type that go for purples at all but I did want to give this polish a shot! The amount of holo effect was just gorgeous! Just look at the bottle in macro shot!!

All swatches are in two coats and topped off with Glisten & Glow's HK Girl Top Coat. The polish was really easy to apply and formula was great, no issues at all.

Thank goodness for the sun, you guys are lucky (so am I!).

Dreamy Lilac is a really soft liliac as the name suggests, however as you saw, under direct solunlight, the holo effects go full on. But when it is in other lighting the holo-ness takes a back seat and the perfect lilac base shows off with hints of micro holo going on. I'm in love~

I maanged to catch this swatch (above) using my phone when I woke up from a nap and it somehow showed more blue and I had to capture the moment!

As you can see under artificial lighting, it shows more purple in the lilac.

This polish is subtle and is a lovely shade, to add on the holo is to die for! LOVE!

Hi everyone! I am excited to share FIVE of Charlie's Rad Lacquer nail polishes *squeals* with you. The stars of today's post are: That Flaming Hair, Irish Blood, Luckiest Shamrock, Peace Ain't Easy and Fat Tuesday. What are you waiting for? Let's get started with this ultra long post!

That Flaming Hair

As quoted from Charlie's Rad Lacquer, this polish is "a bright orange shimmery color with red holographic glitters in in that dries to a textured finish".

The formula for this polish was a little thick, however still manageable. I had no problems with the brush although this was a mini sized bottle (which is great) and the application was good. It dries matte with a textured finish that is to my liking as it was not "overly" textured.

(Two coats, no topcoat)

The bright orange instantly reminded me of fresh-squeezed orange citrus, mmm delicious. Adding on, there are also bright red, green, and gold glitters when shone in different lighting! I kept moving my fingers to catch the light and looking out for those gorgeous glitter.

After applying a layer of Seche Vite topcoat, I relised that I could still see the textured finish and it was less gritty to the touch. Personally, I would rather have it textured. If you're a bold and orange girl, you should definitely go for That Flaming Hair!

Irish Blood

Irish Blood is described as a "soft metallic green", quoted from Charlie's Rad Lacquer website.

The formula of Irish Blood is nice and thin. The application was easy and two coats was all that was needed. Brush strokes are a little visible but otherwise I do like this shade of green-teal colour. There are blue, green, hints of red and silver micro glitters that are very subtle.

Swatches of Irish Blood are in two coats with Seche Vite topcoat.

Although I used a top coat, the polish itself after letting it dry is already very shiny and glossy. This color may be seen quite often but I think that the micro glitters are what makes Irish Blood different from the rest.

Luckiest Shamrock

Luckiest Shamrock is described as a "deep green holographic" by Charlies Rad Lacquer.

The formula of Luckiest Shamrock is the same as Irish Blood. It was easy to work with and the coverage was good in two coats. This dark forest green is unlike any in my stash. The contrasting bright red and light green glitter gives the whole dark based green a different dimension. It also reminds me of Christmas actually. I can foresee using Luckiest Shamrock for the coming season!

I must say that in real life, the green is a much muted and deeper green than pictured above but I do like it this way as it does go well with the glitters which aren't that loud either (:

Peace Ain't Easy

Described as "a super sparkly white that dries to a soft textured finish"

When I first saw the bottle, I thought that Peace Ain't Easy was going to be a pretty silver elegant pearl finish. I was wrong. It surprisingly dried to a matte textured finish!

The formula was similar to That Flaming Hair, slightly gloopy but manageable application. The best part of this polish is that it's sparkle is so so shimmery! Plus, the sparkles are of lighter shades of red, green and blue. Pretty, my favorite of all the polishes seen today!!

Fat Tuesday

Fat Tuesday is described as "a creamy gold metallic"

I was very eager to try out Fat Tuesday because I find gold really nice on the nails. However, I was dissapointed with the formula. Unlike the other nail polishes, I find it much thicker and harder to apply.

Nonetheless, this unique shade of gold compliments my skintone and I instantly felt like a Greek god for some reason LOL.
