Hello there! Today I would be reviewing these chic rectangle studs which I found really unique as the center of the rectangle is hollow! That made me think of a nail art idea that I wanted to try out! Here is the product link, these are pattern 98!

What I came up with was just a try out so my mani may not be oh-so-perfect. I did a coat of black polish first using Barry M - Espresso then I placed the rectangles and secured with a top coat. I let it dry and then went in with nail polish remover and a very very small dotting tool to remove the center of the rectangle.

As you can see, the sides of the inner rectangle is not perfectly cleaned out, but I still do like the feel of this mani as it is really classy and looks so chic! Tell me what you think of it :D

Today I have some fun mani to share with you :) I wanted to come up with a mani based on Ruby Wing - Gypsy. It is such a gorgeous bright minty blue. Lemme show you this picture I took on the go :P

So what I did was some stamping using BornPrettyStore.com stamping plate BP-L004 (reviewed here) that I was sent by them. I used Sinful Colors - Snow Me White nail polish to stamp on the image.

I then used a small sized gold stud to add on to the mani to bring out more glam and bling. It was bought from BPS using my own money. It came in an assortment of studs, click here for the product link!

Today I have another BornPrettyStore review! As mentioned in previous reviews (here & here) BPS provides an array of nail art essentials for you with FREE WORLDWIDE SHIPPING. Now, I present to you this 12-colored rectangle rhinestones/studs!

Initially I was afraid that the rectangles are gonna be too big, but no, I can manage four studs down the middle of my nail (except thumb). There are a ton of studs here and the best part is that you could re-use them! I tried lightly wiping with a polish remover to get rid of the top coat and I could easily remove them without destroying it. So, reuse of studs = PLUS POINT(Y)!

Also, there are 12 colors for you. TWELVE. Do you want me to name them? Okay I will. Yellow, light pink, royal purple, light blue, gold, red, light green, black, dark green, magenta, royal blue and silver (as shown below in sequence).

Now moving on to the nail art that I came up with for this review!

Basically for this manicure, I made use of the rectangle studs and aligned them vertically to show a change of pattern. Read below for the step-by-step how-to for this look!

Paint all nails with a base color and apply top coat. Let dry.
Pointer & Middle: Place chevron stickers and apply second color. Remove sticker using tweezers IMMEDIATELY after application.
Pointer & Middle: Touch up mistakes and ooopsies by using a small brush with the base color and cover up. Let dry. Apply topcoat.
Ring: Get tape and remove stickiness by placing several times on your hand. Tape off half of your nail vertically. Place chevron stickers and apply second color as per point 2.
Ring: Draw a thick line next to the chevron you created. Let dry.
Ring: Apply topcoat. Quickly place the light pink rectangle stud vertically down your nail. Let dry. Apply topcoat again.
Pinky: Using a nail art liner brush, draw two thick stripes across the entire nail. Let dry. Apply topcoat.

Base Color: Revlon Apricot Nectar
Second Color: OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls
Top Coat: Glisten & Glow's HK Girl

Hmmmmm... Not a fan of words? Or maybe you can't understand my steps above? FRET NOT! I have a YouTube video tutorial on how you can recreate this manicure!!!

Hello there!

Today I have for you a rather bold mani! This is also my first try at negative space nail art which means that the mani includes showing off of the naked nail. I did a two toned blue leaving a negative space between, then I added square studs in the middle.

I have to admit that the studs were too much for my liking, but I do like the blues in here! What do you think?

Hello friends~

As of now, I am at a LEGAL age (yay). On my birthday, which was three days ago, it felt like any normal day. But as always on my birthday, I thought about all the awesome, sweet memories of my life. One of which was the love my parents showered me with since day one.

To symbolise that into a simple mani, I had my nails painted with Cadillacquer's Better Call Saul! and added a heart-shaped stud on my ring finger, that's it!

Hello readers! Carrying on with the challenge... it's the day for STUDS! I was actually excited to do this challenge but the result didn't turn out as I wanted it too.

I suspect it is because I etiher did not put two coats of orange base or the colors were not too matchy? I don't know... But anyway, here it is!

Hello everyone! I just came back from Japan, which means... new mani!

I have finally received my Born Pretty Store package which had been lost in the mail. I contacted their service staff and they got back to me efficiently. They then resent the package after waiting for 6 weeks. Together with the STUDS , I ordered nail STAMP ING PLATES and the TOOLS (can't wait to try them out!)

Anyway, here is my mani using the silver teardrop stud matched with some silver drooping effect! I'm proud of this design cause I came up with it kekeke ^^
