I know I've been super out of touch recently... I just finished my last module for the year last week and so I told myself I needed to post something soon! 

I was very excited to try BPX L023 stamping plate from BornPrettyStore.com, probably why I left this as the last item to review hehe 😛

For this look, I did a gradient of Cirque Colors "Halcyon" and "Idyllic" using a makeup sponge. The rose gold payoff was better than the blue while creating this gradient effect. After I did a gradient, I added a glossy top coat to make sure the base is set. Then, we move on to the stamping! I picked out two gear designs, an hourglass and clock patterned design. They all stamped beautifully.

I used Konad black stamping polish for this look and then, I decided to add a matte top coat so that I can take nice macro shots for you! They're coming right up 😉

Here's how part of the plate looks like, click HERE to see the entire plate! I was very fond of this plate as I specifically chose this plate because I saw the endless possibilities with reversed stamping. And this was exactly what I tried to do in this manicure.

Before moving on, I just wanted to show you a quick picture of the pickup of image on the stamper. I was really impressed with how fine the lines were! 👍 I know the quality is quite bad, I took it on my phone with a shaky hand LOL, but you could still see how nicely the image was picked up!

I did not add a top coat over the stamper and peeled it off like a decal. Instead, after filling in the colors I let it dry for a bit and while still tacky I stamped the entire design on my nails. 

I must say, for reverse stamping, if you want to be super perfect maybe add a layer of top coat before filling the colors. Otherwise you might end up like me, smudging a bit of the black outline on my flowers!

Hey there, HAPPY EASTER!

Today I'm going for a Spring look and of course around the Easter theme 😉 I'll be using a new plate from BornPrettyStore BP L043  particularly the beautiful butterfly image that I will be doing a reverse stamping.

Moving on to my manicure, I used Sinful Colors "Be Happy" and "Island Coral" and created a gradient on my pointer and pinky, just because I missed doing a sponged gradient 😛 Then I stamped over some chevron patterns from Bundle Monster's BM-XL202 stamping plate over the gradient.

I'm actually really pleased with the result of the butterfly, as you can see from the close up macro shot below. To keep with the Easter theme, I added some Easter egg designs on my middle nail and drew on some designs on the eggs with white nail polish.

Hello there! 

I am back with more stamping, this time around it is reverse stamping! Today I am using BP L052 stamping plate and also reviewing it.

Like all BornPrettyStore's stamping plate, they are really easy to use. The designs on this plate particularly caught my attention because of the detail of the design and the range of options to choose from! Here is what I managed to achieve 😄

This week I am trying a new stamping plate that I received a while back. This is BornPrettyStore's BP L054 plate which I absolutely adore. Firstly because I am a fan of geometric shapes, and secondly the designs are intricate! Do use my code "LSTX31" for a 10% off when you're shopping there!

Moving on to my manicure, I decided to go for a minty gold background. I applied one layer of Sinful Colors "Be Happy" on all the nails then using that with Sinful Colors "This Is It" and a bronzier gold color from Catrice "Oh My Goldness!"; I blobbed the polishes on a stamper and then squish the colors on my nails. I love how the effect turned out!

Then I used Konad black stamping polish and a stamper + scraper to stamp on the geometric shapes. I was happy that this turned out pretty and I did this within an hour! That's how easy it is 😉😉

Hello all! Time for some Stamping Saturdays!

Today I have a gradient stamping which I haven't done in a while. I had on a base of white and then did a gradient with Revlon "African Tea Rose" and "Apricot Nectar". It did get me a couple of coats of sponging to get to the opacity that I liked.

Next I used Bundle Monster BM712: Flowers For Brains stamping plate and Konad white stamping polish to stamp on the design.

After that I decided to sprinkle some sparkle so I added a layer of INM Nails "Silver Holographic Top Coat" to all of my nails. You could totally see that sparkly dust on my nails in the macro shots below :)

Out of all the prompts, I am most excited for today's. Mainly because I am a huge fan of nature, I love the greenery and everything in between.

Yes I did more stamping because I tried to do freehand and it sucked big time LOL.

I used Bundle Monster BM720 for the flower and the bird design, totally loving this plate! The leafy designs are from BornPrettyStore BP19 plate (I reviewed this plate here). I used my trusty Konad White stamping polish only for this look.

The striking bright blue polish I so adore recently is none other than China Glaze "Turned Up Turquoise". For the flower design I did reverse stamping and filled in some color with Essie "Fiji" and "Cute as a Button". The ring finger had on two coats of Essie "Cute as a Button" as the base color.

I am super happy with how these tropical look came out! Tell me what you think!

Today I have a pretty well done manicure (if I do say so myself)! Haven't had such a good full-on stamp in a while! 

Here's my look for the Gold prompt of #Clairestelle8Sep Challenge. I used ILNP "Juliette" a rose gold flakie polish. Very very pretty!! However because I matte the whole look you cannot see the holographic reflectiveness at its best. I used Jior Couture "Cover Me Smooth" matte top coat for it.

I stamped over with Konad black polish, I think this is by far still the best stamping polish ever!!! I took out the bundle monster collab plate with ChitChatNails BM-XL202 plate and stamped away!

It's rare that I post on a weekday now eh? I've been busy back at work but today is an exception.

Three years ago today, I started off my Instagram nail account, @nailsbykarise. If you haven't already know, I was introduced to nail art by my classmate Zenna (@themanicuredmissy on Instagram) and ever since then, I was in the game :D

I created this nail art look that is not my usual style, but it does get my message across to you! I know my growth in terms of following isn't the greatest, and my likes aren't that many. It does get on to me, sometimes I feel like I shouldn't bother doing my nails. Especially when I'm busy with work or school. 

Then again, I do come back to nail art and I love it. So, thank you to any one who still reads this blog LOL or who still looks at my Instagram, Facebook or whatever posts <3

I decided to come up with this manicre, using all blue polishes hehe! I painted my pointer and pinky with a minty color base using Paul & Joe "12". Because this stamper is clear and see-through, it is much easier to place the top part of the design at the bottom of my nail near the cuticle.

For my accent nails, I had on a white base and then using three shades of blue I created a gradient. I used Formula X "Omni", Model's Own "Beth's Blue" and Paul & Joe "12". Instead of using traditional sponging gradient, I put the colors down on the nail and then used a fan brush to blend the colors together. 

After letting it dry, I stamped on the full design on my nail, aligning the design nicely. It is really helpful that you can see it through and ensure your placements are perfect. See the macro shot below!

We are already halfway of 2016, dayum! Today I have some stamping that I've done with the Bundle Monster stamping plate in collaboration with Lucy's Stash. I had on two coats of Flormar GL10, a super intense holographic in black jelly base. I decided to step up the game with silver stamping polish from BornPrettyStore.com.

The silver stamping polish did kinda make my skin around the nails sparkly LOL and clean up was a bit of a job man! But still, I am loving this macro shot hehe!

Today I have decided to add in some stamping amid the other challenge prompts for the month! Make sure to see other bloggers who joined the Stamping Saturday this week!

It took me a while which Bundle Monster plate I'd like to test out and I did finally settled on BM707 from the Secret Gardens Collection (which I pruchased the whole set :P) I also used the Glass Stamper and boy is it such an ease to place my stamping now! I ran out of my stamping polish so I used Sinful Colors "Snow Me White" for today's stamping!

For the gorgeous blue-ish purple holo base, it is FUN Lacquer "Anna", my all time favourite polish! Here I have the macro close up shot of one of the designs from the BM707 plate :) Loved how these turned out with close to perfect stamping and fine lines!

It is a new month, welcome June! A change of something new today, instead of doing another Glam Nails Challenge, I have decided to try out this challenge from Clairestelle8 on Instagram. For the first prompt it's squares. I've thought of many ideas like using striping tapes or free handing some lines.

However I was flippin' through my stamping plates and came cross BornPrettyStore's BP 47 plate. There's this design with the squares which is suppose to be like the different volumes. I thought that I could use this image with my new glass stamper I got from Bundle Monster. Because the image could not fit the whole nail, I stamped twice so most of the nail is covered with squares! 

I thought that these came out pretty cool, what do you think? Oh I almost forgot to tell you that I used Nails Inc "Baker Street" as my base color!

To be completely honest, I did wanted to join last months HPB link up but time totally got a hold of me! So, this month I made it a point to participate :) For those still a little lost, HPB is a Facebook group of nail addict bloggers who get together and discuss about polish. I must also admit that I have not been active there... Ooops, but well at least I'm here to join the link-up for May!

The theme was Neutrals & Neons. I chose to work with Butter London "Cuppa" and Orly "Beach Cruiser". I swear the life of me that the pink is neon, it's just that the camera didn't pick that out well! Believe me, it's really NEON, Google it okay? :D

I first applied one ocat of Cuppa and then did a gradient with these two shades. I would've stopped there but felt something was missing and went ahead to choose a stamping plate. I went with BP-50 plate from BornPrettyStore (use LSTX31 for 10% off!!) and stamped on the leafy design with Konad white stamping polish.

And then... I added my recently bought holo top coat, INM "Northern Lights" in silver. It is similar to China Glaze "Fairy Dust" but more sparse which is great to see the design beneath. For my other nails I painted a solid colors and ten added the holo top coat!

Hey, I told ya I'll be back with more stamping ain't I right?!

Here I have the same plate from Bundle Monster in collaboration with blogger Lucy's Stash. I used only one image from the plate, a very delicate and pretty lace pattern. I felt that if I had longer nails this mani would look a lot better, but imma not gonna complain cause I still do love this design!

I had on two coats of Essie "Chinchilly", formula was lovely and it was so opaque! Great job there Essie (Y). I used Konad white stamping polish to stamp on the lace designs and then with a white polish and a nail art brush, I drew on a half moon at my cuticles.

I thought that this design was pretty awesome with the soft complex lace tied up with a minimalist half moon design.

Today is Saturday and I'm back with Stamping Saturdays! I have a rather simple stamping nail art using Bundle Monster's plate 701 and China Glaze "Flip Flop Fantasy". This was the first time that I had on FFF as a base color and boy was it so so neon! My fingers instantly looked so tan I couldn't believe it myself!

I used black stamping polish and I found that using BPS stamper was easier to pick up the image rather than Creative Shop's stamper. Idky maybe there was something with how I do it :/ 

Anyway, this simple manicure was fun to look at especially being so bright and oh-so summer ready eh?

It has been long since I did a stamping right? I recently got blogger Lucy's Stash stamping plate in collaboration with Bundle Monster. I decided to create a floral manicure with the images. 

For my middle and ring I had two coats of Zoya "Tove" and a white polish for the other nails. I did reverse stamping for all by creating a decal. For the colorful design I used Konad white stamping polish to pick up the image and then I used China Glaze "Flip Flop Fantasy", Essie "Cute As a Button" and "Navigate Her" to fill in randomly on the exposed areas. 

I felt that this manicure is rather refreshing with the bright colors used and I am really happy with how the stamping images are pretty and lovely too!
