Hello there! Here is the last of the nail vinyls that I am reviewing!

Today it is a very starry manicure :D This is the starlight nail vinyl from BornPrettyStore. I felt that this vinyl was even more delicate as compared to the previous gardenia vinyl. I came up with this look:

I used Zoya "Piaf" a beautiful yellow shimmer base and NCLA "Spaced Out" as the second color. I thought that the color combination was pretty (if I do say so myself LOL).

I must say that out of all the vinyls the starlight one is the most tricky to use. However I did managed to come up with this manicure! And I was quite happy with the outcome :) What do you think of this manicure?

Today I have another look that I created from using nail vinyls from BornPrettyStore. It is the Gardenia vinyls this time.

I wanted this nail art look to be simple yet sparkly enough. Hence I had on a base color of Rimmel London "Seduce" a deep dark purple. Then I placed the vinyl over the dried base polish. I used Model's Own "Southern Lights" a silvery blue glitter polish for the second color.

I had to use a small brush to paint over the vinyl, I thought that it gave best results. Painting over from the polish brush itself was not that great as the polish was a bit thick.

I absolutely loved how this turned out! I feel that you have to be careful when using the vinyls as it could be a bit flimsy! Here's a macro shot for your enjoyment *wink wink*

This manicure is totally inspired by Angel from @twi_star! See her video here which got me thinking of using vinyls as stickers :D

I went for a rather badass cool look so I had on Zoya "Payton" a deep rich purple red with strong holographic specks that matches well with the gold holographic vinyl sheet. It does look really cool eh?

However I do not think that this manicure can last very long LOL because the vinyl may pop off from the edges. It was not meant for this purpose but I was just trying it out this way :D Would you wear this look?

Well hello there!

Recently I have picked out some vinyls from bornprettystore to try out for review. Here is the first vinyl! It is a flower patterned design that I thought was pretty and cool at the same time. I tried two methods for this manicure.

First off on the ring finger, I used the decal method. Meaning, paste the vinyl over a zip lock bag, painted over it with piCture pOlis "Winter" and then remove the vinyl. After letting it dry properly, I put a layer of clear polish over and let dry. Then I peel off the decal from the zip lock. I prepped my nails with NCLA "Lightyears Ahead" and placed the decal over. The designs came out pretty neat!
The second method on my middle finger was the old school way of placing the vinyl over the base color and then going in with the second color and removing the vinyl straight after. The results you get will not be as great as the decal method. I did go in with the base color to clean up the lines and all.
For my accent nails, I did a simple design with a base of "Winter" and then a dot of "Lightyears Ahead" near the cuticle. Thought that it would tie up the whole look together :)
Overall this vinyls are easy to use and are great for beginners trying out new methods! If you're unsure, try both methods and see which one works for you best!!

When I was in America for my holiday, no doubt there was a lot of shopping and a lot of damage to the wallet... But today, this Fossil watch was a gift from my Dad *beams* I saw this watch and fell in love with it! I think it's mainly because it looks classy :P I really liked it so much I decided to do a mani inspired by this watch.

The numbers on the watch is rose gold and so I decided to use the oh-so-famous ILNP "Juliette" rose gold flakie nail polish as the base for my nails. For the details I used the colors of the second and minute hands of the watch, which are white and mint.

On my accent nails, I did a very simple design by creating three stripes down the middle of my nail. I used Sinful Colors "Be Happy" and "Snow Me White" together with the skinniest striping tape from Nail Vinyls. I then decided to matte the whole manicure so that the flakies stand out more and make the look more subtle and chic.

I thoroughly enjoyed creating this look to match my new favourite watch! Lemme know what you think of them :)

Well hello there!

Today I have a cute stamping design to share with you :D I did this stamping over Dollish Polish - Penny... Penny... Penny... using Sinful Colors - Black on Black and Bornprettystore.com's stamping plate number 53.

Here is what my mani looks like :)

I used my Creative Stamper that I got from BeautySoFly. I love love looooove this stamper. It has been highly raved by a lot of nail artists that was why I wanted to try it for myself. Sure enough, it was really really great.

You just need to pull some tips out from reviews by bloggers and YouTubers to know how best to use it! Here are a list of tips I have gathered and practiced:

I washed the stamper head with soap when I couldn't pick up image on first try
Roll the stamper on the stamping plate
Transfer image to nail by pressing nail onto the stamper head (see video tutorial)
Clean stamper head using scotch tape only (no polish removers!)

Moving on, you can see that the accent nail I did was some simple black stripes I did using my straight nail vinyls. Now time for some macro shots of my stamping.

Today I have another BornPrettyStore review! As mentioned in previous reviews (here & here) BPS provides an array of nail art essentials for you with FREE WORLDWIDE SHIPPING. Now, I present to you this 12-colored rectangle rhinestones/studs!

Initially I was afraid that the rectangles are gonna be too big, but no, I can manage four studs down the middle of my nail (except thumb). There are a ton of studs here and the best part is that you could re-use them! I tried lightly wiping with a polish remover to get rid of the top coat and I could easily remove them without destroying it. So, reuse of studs = PLUS POINT(Y)!

Also, there are 12 colors for you. TWELVE. Do you want me to name them? Okay I will. Yellow, light pink, royal purple, light blue, gold, red, light green, black, dark green, magenta, royal blue and silver (as shown below in sequence).

Now moving on to the nail art that I came up with for this review!

Basically for this manicure, I made use of the rectangle studs and aligned them vertically to show a change of pattern. Read below for the step-by-step how-to for this look!

Paint all nails with a base color and apply top coat. Let dry.
Pointer & Middle: Place chevron stickers and apply second color. Remove sticker using tweezers IMMEDIATELY after application.
Pointer & Middle: Touch up mistakes and ooopsies by using a small brush with the base color and cover up. Let dry. Apply topcoat.
Ring: Get tape and remove stickiness by placing several times on your hand. Tape off half of your nail vertically. Place chevron stickers and apply second color as per point 2.
Ring: Draw a thick line next to the chevron you created. Let dry.
Ring: Apply topcoat. Quickly place the light pink rectangle stud vertically down your nail. Let dry. Apply topcoat again.
Pinky: Using a nail art liner brush, draw two thick stripes across the entire nail. Let dry. Apply topcoat.

Base Coat: Sally Hansen Smooth and Strong
Base Color: Revlon Apricot Nectar
Second Color: OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls
Top Coat: Glisten & Glow's HK Girl

Hello readers!

Today I have something fun to share with all of you; NAIL VINYLS. I have seen so many bloggers and instagrammers (does this word even exists?!) used IG@teismom nail vinyls (or stickers if you wish to call them). You can purchase yours on her website and she even has hearts, stars and many other nail vinyls to choose from!

I ordered this chevron nail vinyls from her because free hand chevrons are hard to do (especially when using non-dominant hand). Many of us resort to using the traditional DIY chevron crafts scissors and scotch tape. But let's be honest, it isn't easy either. You have to cut and leave almost the same size between the first cut and the next PLUS the scissors I use aren't sharp enough to cut the scotch tape. So you can say I gave up on chevrons, but not to worry cause nail vinyls are here to the rescue!

For today's mani, I am going to use my favourite Teenage Dream from the OPI Katy Perry collection, together with it is piCture pOlish Cosmos. You could say I just combined both of my favorite shades hehehe :D

And now, I proudly present to you.... perfect chevrons!!! It was easy to use these nail vinyls and I could even reuse them (which is great)! This is the first try using the vinyls and I am very pleased. I have learnt not to load the brush of the second color too much as it may flood the cuticles, and clean up was a mess! But with practice I got the hang of it and it turned out pretty well!

I think that I may want to get more of the vinyls from @teismom sometime soon because it is really great! What do you think? Would you spend money on nail 'stencils'?
