Nice Things To List

Hi hi again!

I'm here with another recreation! However, this time I feel that it's a rather failed attempt :/ I tried to do this dry marble design that I saw from IG@sveta_sanders a long time ago. Although mine did not turn out exactly like hers, I felt that mine wasn't that bad, especially if you looked at it in an abstract-y kinda way LOL.

I particularly love how my index finger design turned out, so I had to do a macro shot (like duhhh).  I had on a dray base of Ruby Wings - Gypsy then went in with the dry marbling by adding it while wet together with Kure Bazaar - Turkoise and piCture pOlish - Cosmos. 

Just look at the blue flakies that Cosmos shows off in the macro below! ERMAHGAWD!*droooools* You're drooling too right? DON'T LIE TO ME! 

Okay, enough of fangirling over a macro shot of a nail. Let's see how my mani looked overall.

I believed that I had loaded the brush too much that caused too much polish on the nail to do dry marbling. Especially on my ring finger where I think everything went haywire HAHA!

Hello there!

I recently found out that @nailpromote was doing a contest with manis that are being recreated. I do actually have a lot of to-do manis that I would love to recreate but always forget to do them LOL. So I took this chance to do this mani!

I chose IG@vanityprojects nail art, basicially because there's a lot of blue going and there's negative space, which I love hehe!

For this nail art, I used straight Nail Vinyls to create this look. I first taped halfway down my nail and then painted the tip using China Glaze - Man Hunt. I then waited it to dry then added a fast drying top coat, Glisten & Glow's HK Girl Top Coat and waited for 15 minutes.

Then I went in again with the vinyls to create a triangle. I then used Flormar - 423 and filled in the triangle. For both polishes I needed two coats to make it opaque. What I did was paint a first coat on all the fingers then go back with the first and paint the second coat. So the in-between time lets it dry a little so that the second coat can stick better instead of wiping it all off.

I used Sally Hansen - Bubblegum Pink for the half moons and chevrons, Essie - Avenue Maintain for the dots and a-England - Camelot for the black triangles! As for the base... well you guessed it! OPI - My Boyfriend Scales Walls *duhhhhh*
