Hello there!
Firstly, my apologies for this short break. I was busy preparing for an event which I led with my committee. The event was just yesterday and I had a good rest today.
Theme of the event was Under the Sea, and the girls' dress code was black dress + blue necklace. I went online to get this pretty sea-blue turquoise necklace and then took a loooooong time to decide which polishes to match it.
I finally settled on a base color of Sally Hansen - Dive In and then a layer of glitter from Lac Attack - Jewel of the Nile which I reviewed
here.
However to my dissapointment, SH Dive In is a total stainer. I actually had a peel off base coat and it still stained my nails badly. I had to resort to toothpaste scrubbing, baking soda, lemon juice and lastly Orly Cutique. It was disastrous. I took a good two hours to remove them.
On a happier note, my event is finally done and I feel more relaxed now! Keep a look on my page as I get back more to my nails~

Hello girlfriends!!
Today I have an interesting nail art which was on my to-do list, and finally I tried it! Cut-out hearts, or some may call it negative space hearts? IDK, haha! Anyway, I found a few methods to do this mani. You could either (1) paint your nails, then using a cotton bud dipped into nail polish remover and erase out the polish in the shape of a heart or (2) draw out a heart, color in the outside
Well, I did the first method because I feel that it is faster in a way (although the hearts may seem funny LOL). Also, I outlined the heart with a shiny gold polish (SH Golden-I). This reminds me of Christmas or Valentine's Day. But oh well, love is everyday, right?
Ah yes, I almost forgot to mention that I used Ciate's topcoat! It is really good too! I like it (:
What do you think of negative space manis? I initially didn't fancy the thought of showing my bare nails in the midst of my nail art. But tbh, this looks cute!

Hello guys! Let me start off with this post by saying that I today's mani was inspired by
sonailicious and in this particular picture:
I liked the half moon mani with the dots, and so I tried to do it on my own! BUT FIRST, let me raveeeeeee about my new found love of Flormar's GL10 polish. It is this black base with AMAZING holographic glitters (ouhmaigawd). There's green, red, orange, blue and silver glitters that are such a BOMB! Just look at it below under direct sunlight!
I also used Sally Hansen's Golden-I as an accent!!
This is under artificial lighting (and so is the one below)
And now, back to my mani :P I initially tried to recreate the entire look from sonailicious, but I found it too overwhelming, so I just did a simple half-moon mani as an accent and replaced the dots with small gold studs. I like how this whole look turned out (Y)
*spamz picz*
I love love GL10 now hehehe. But the downside of it is that it's really thick even though this is the first time that I use it. But oh well, I still love it ^^
