Hello there!
Wow, it's been a while and I have to say the time passes too quickly! It's already August!! Today's post is special because it's Singapore's 52nd Birthday!! Our country's color is red and white so this manicure is themed around these colors.
I didn't want to do those usual stars and moons that are on our flag, instead, I went for a floral design! This manicure was inspired by Chelsea Queen, I thought that the colors went well with Singapore's flag with a pop of yellow, purple and green flowers and leaves.
Here's the list of polishes that I used:
Red: Kure Bazaar "Juicy"
White: Sinful Colors "Snow Me White"
Black: Sinful Colors "Black on Black"
Purple: pa "A167"
Yellow: OPI "I Can't Cope-acabana"
Pink: Essie "Fiji"
Green: Sally Hansen "Blue Streak"
Hope you liked my manicure, I will be back for more designs soon!

Hello hello!
As I was finding inspiration for this week's manicure, I was sourcing through all my favourite Youtube nail artists. It was hard to choose which designs to recreate but I settled with
Nailed It! NZ's original floral anchor nail art which another of my faves
JauntyJuli recreated in a
mani swap that they did!
I've linked all of their videos above and there's not much to explain on how to do this since they both did an excellent job doing that right?! What I'll say is that I didn't go completely the same with their design, as you can tell LOL.
I'll have all the polishes I used in this manicure for you:
Black: a England "Camelot"
Nude: Butter London "Cuppa"
Dark Purple: Rimmel London "Seduce"
Orange: Sally Hansen "Fired Up"
Yellow: Sinful Colors "Unicorn"
Dark Green: Revlon "Trendy"
White: Sinful Colors "Snow Me White"
What I changed up this manicure compared to the Youtubers are the holographic topper. I used INM Nails Silver Holographic Topcoat (which I tend to reach out to a lot recently!). For my ring finger, after doing the floral anchor, I used a small brush to apply the holographic topper over the black base.
I love how this turned out, and I was even able to do this design with my non-dominant hand! Tell me what you think :)

Well hello there!
Recently I have picked out some vinyls from bornprettystore to try out for review. Here is the first vinyl! It is a
flower patterned design that I thought was pretty and cool at the same time. I tried two methods for this manicure.
First off on the ring finger, I used the decal method. Meaning, paste the vinyl over a zip lock bag, painted over it with piCture pOlis "Winter" and then remove the vinyl. After letting it dry properly, I put a layer of clear polish over and let dry. Then I peel off the decal from the zip lock. I prepped my nails with NCLA "Lightyears Ahead" and placed the decal over. The designs came out pretty neat!
The second method on my middle finger was the old school way of placing the vinyl over the base color and then going in with the second color and removing the vinyl straight after. The results you get will not be as great as the decal method. I did go in with the base color to clean up the lines and all.
For my accent nails, I did a simple design with a base of "Winter" and then a dot of "Lightyears Ahead" near the cuticle. Thought that it would tie up the whole look together :)
Overall this vinyls are easy to use and are great for beginners trying out new methods! If you're unsure, try both methods and see which one works for you best!!

Hi again all!
This prompt is something I've not seen before, it's interesting! Today I embrace the color I don't wear often, and that would be the yellow to orange range. In particular, I have here Paul & Joe nail polish "11". My Mom got me two P&J polishes when she was in Japan and one of them is this little one here, which I did not try for the longest time. I'm guilty.
So here I am thanks to Claire using this polish to good use! Lemme start off by saying that both nail polishes "11" and "12" from P&J are scented and boyyyyyy do they smell really good! Anyway, back to the mani!
I decided to do yellow flowers since I have not done florals in foreverrrr! I did use Revlon "Apricot Nectar" in the flowers to give more dimension". The greens used for the leaves are Barry M "Wakaki" and "Spring Green". I also did a simple polka dot design on my other nail. The white base you see is none other than OPI "My Boyfriend Scales Walls".
I thought that the design was pretty and very refreshing to my surprise! Tell me what you think :)

Well hello hello!
It has been long since I did a stamping right? I recently got blogger
Lucy's Stash stamping plate in collaboration with Bundle Monster. I decided to create a floral manicure with the images.
For my middle and ring I had two coats of Zoya "Tove" and a white polish for the other nails. I did reverse stamping for all by creating a decal. For the colorful design I used Konad white stamping polish to pick up the image and then I used China Glaze "Flip Flop Fantasy", Essie "Cute As a Button" and "Navigate Her" to fill in randomly on the exposed areas.
With these bright colors used on the first pattern, I decided to incorporate them into the flower image. I filled in colors to the petals and leaves and placed it over the nail.
I felt that this manicure is rather refreshing with the bright colors used and I am really happy with how the stamping images are pretty and lovely too!
Hope that you enjoyed this stamping post, do stay tuned for more of this... because I made a huge Bundle Monster haul :P

Hello there!
For one of my Christmas presents, I received this really adorable and lovely Cath Kidston wallet which was totally my style so I really like it!!
It was of good timing that I was sent these
floral water decals from bornprettystore which matched very well with my wallet. I was impressed that these decals that I used did not need a base of any sort, I simply placed them over my nails and cleaned up around and I was done!!
Then for my pointer and pinky, I did a black and white chevron using bornprettystore's new chevron tape which comes in the similar packaging to a striping tape which I found quite cute! I simply did a white base and then placed the stickers and then went over with a black polish.

You can see how I did this manicure with ease in a video tutorial which I will put into this blog post after I have posted it on Instagram :)

Hello there!
It is going to the end of March?! Like my goodness, how did time even go by so quickly?
Anyway, for today's mani I am very proud to say that this is one of the best stamping I have ever done. Image came out nice and had no troubles whatsoever with plate or polish or scraper or etc.
I used Born Pretty Store plate BP-46 using NOT Konad white stamping polish, instead I went ahead to try using my almost finished, kinda goopy Sinful Colors - Snow Me White and indeed it worked perfectly!
I then went in with OPI - I can't Cope-acabana and a dotting tool to create yellow centers. I really really loved this mani as it didn't take much effort and I had nice nails in 45 minutes!
P.S. I was so said to remove this mani :(

Happy Sunday reader!
It is the first of March, my favourite month because... it's my birthday month! HEHE! That aside, it is also the start of my holidays *squeals* And to add on to the fun... I'm trying this #glamnailschallenge March 2015 challenge!
I feel that challenges are always a great way for me to keep myself busy with what to do with my nails during the holidays as I tend to think too much on what to do and end up not knowing what to go with. Yeap, I'm indecisve :/
Anywayyyy, here is the challenge!
I hope that I can keep up with this LOL! Now, for the first challenge, roses! Let's take a look at what I came up with :D
Do you think it's cute? Cause I do :P I was thinking what background should I do to spice up a simple floral rose, and somewhere and somehow my brain decided to do a picnic mat inspired background.
For the background, I had an off white base using my fav OPI - My Boyfriend Scales Walls. Then I picked out a medium blue/pink and a light blue/pink. I used the lighter color to create a big # pattern using Pure Color No 10 brush. After letting it dry, I then filled in the sqaures where the lines meet with the darker color.
Medium color blue is Barry M - Cyan Blue and light blue is Barry M - Blue Moon. Medium pink is Ciate - Candy Floss and light pink is Ciate - Strawberry Milkshake.
With that, I then moved on to the roses. I started with a red Rimmel London - Hip Hop and using the brush I created a rough rounded shape. Then I went in with OPI - MBSW and added a dot and then some curved shapes around it.
Then I went in with the medium pink Ciate - Candy Floss and also added curved details. For the leaves, I first used Barry M - Spring Green and drew on a leaf shape coming out from the rose and then added a lighter green Essie - Navigate Her to add some highlights.
I topped everything off with HK Girl top coat (Y)
Hope this post was informative and you enjoyed it!
Have a good day :)

Hello readers!
Here's something special *grins* My dear friend, Viro, is into henna and I helped her create an Instagram account for her to capture all her work. She did some henna artwork on my hand and I took inspiration from her design in today's mani.
This is the look that I came up with to match my henna design:
I extracted two designs. First was the really cool pattern she did on my fingertips. I sectioned my nail into half, the lower half was some drips while the top part was scallop pattern. I used a brown acrylic paint and my Pure Color No 10 brush for all the details!
As for the accent design, I followed closely to the flower on my palm and did a rather sketchy look for it LOL. Oh, I forgot to mention the base! I used OPI - You're So Vain-illa.
Do give my friend a follow on her Instagram account, click HERE! Thanks so much for reading guys! See you in the next post *winks*

Howdy reader!
I have a mani that I recreated from
IG@foofynails that I came across on Instagram. I followed her design very closely and this was how mine turned out!
I used Charlie's Rad Lacuqer - Dreamy Lilac as the base, then the dark purple holo polish is none other than my favourite Cirque - Fascination Street.
For the roses, I used Rimmel - Suduce a dark purple creme, then I used Miss Sporty - 471 a medium purple and Chloe and Bella - White out to highlight the flowers. I used a small detailed brush to do create those roses.
For the leaves I used Revlon - Trendy and Miss Sporty - 468 for highlighting.
I do like this mani in general! What do you think? :D

Hello there!
Today I have for you a rather simple and dainty design that isn't really my usual stuff. So here is a nude mani, I used OPI - My Vampire is Buff as the base color for all my nails.
Then I added off-white polka dots using OPI - My Boyfriend Scales Walls. You can see that the contrast of colors are not very evident, but I like it that way. It gives a soft look!
And then, using OPI - DS Classic 031 I created polka dot pattern on my middle finger and also used it as the petals for my flowers on my ring finger. I then finished off the center of the flower with a dot using MBSW.
So here is how it looks like~
I also added a matte topcoat to give this look another feel. I do like this mani more than I thought I would (if that makes sense LOL).
Thanks for reading!

How ya doin' reader?
Today I have for you something rather interesting, a mani inspired by my H&M long sleeved top that I recently bought at Bangkok.
Well, I know the above picture did not really show you how my top looks like, so here is a close up of my mani as well as the print on the top.
If you have not already realised, I did round off my nails *gasps* Because of the two nail breakages in December I decided to make this hard choice and go for round nails. So far I think I am starting to like them!
Anyway, back to the manicure! The dark blue base is Jior Couture - I Can Azure You It's Fall (reviewed here). Then the white details, I used OPI - My Boyfriend Scales Walls, an amazing off white. For the berries, I picked out Kure Bazaar - Turkoise a vibrant teal and Essence - Via airmail which cannot be seen very obviously agaisnt ICAYIF.
What do you think of this look?
Thanks for reading, reader!

Hey reader!
Today I have something different and interesting. It is the Nailies collab! Nailies is a group of Singaporean ladies who have a strong passionate interest in the world of nail polishes and the art. We have grown into a group of TWELVE!
Our theme for today's collaboration is daisies! Here is the collage of our manis done by Priscilla ^^
Top row, L-R : @nailsbykarise, @ pinkpixiepie, @themanicuredmissy
Second row, L-R : @jelliclekat88, @pobbynails, @manukamelts
Third row, L-R : @beefette, @ohdreenails, @nailmachine
Bottom row, L-R: @sushinails, @celestialwish, @twentysixnails
Looking at the collage makes me feel happy cause of all the designs and colors used *beams*
Here is my mani close up! I used L.A Colors - 63 for the base, a pretty periwinkle creme with hints of shimmer. Uising white polish, I used a small brush and created petals for the daisies. Then for the center of the flower, I used OPI - I Can't Cope-acabana with a small dotting tool.

Hi all!
I have done my very first mani swap with Niki (
IG@khemetian_nails)! I chose her chic black and white vertical stripes with floral patterns while she chose one of my recent manis, the floral patterned one. Here is the collage! (Left side are the originals and the right side are the copies)
And here is my close up shot! I only used OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls as the base and for the flowers and stripes, I used acrylic paints!
Do you like our floral collage? Hehe see you around readers!

Hi readers!
It was been a little while since I last did a nail art right?? So today I am sharing with you a floral nail art pattern design! It was been even longer since I did a floral manicure... probably since last year? IDK LOL :D
I used OPI - My Vampire is Buff as the base color and used a few acrylic paints for the roses. To make this manicure into something more interesting, I topped off the whole look with a matte topcoat (Essie - Matte About You).
Do you like the traditional glossy topcoat or do you like this matte finish? I certainly have some feels for this matte look HEHEHE!

Hello, it's me again!
Today I have
water marble ^^ I wanted to recreate
PackAPunchPolish Starburst design and thought about incorporating the design into a flower! This is basically how the pattern looks like:
For my own recreation, I used the following polishes:
(L-R: Essie Avenue Maintain, SH Bubblegum Pink, Essie Navigate Her)
Basically, I did that starburst design on my ring finger, then I drew out a flower and coloured the otusides with white paint. Then, I outlined with black and added some leaves to fill up the spaces. For the rest of my nails, I just painted two coat each of the colors used for the water marble.
Here's how it turned out!!
BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!
Plain colors aren't enough for a nail art addict like me, right? So, part two of this post is... more starburst! LOL! I did the water marble over the plain colors, hence they look a bit funny :P I think it's because the blue and the pink was a bit dark for a base. Anywho, here it is!
OH, and not to forget, I added some black studs to the center point of the design. I like the middle finger design the best (but boo to bubbles)! I also used a gold stud (transformed into silver by simply rubbing it with some nail polish remover) at the center of my flower.
I think that my flower was a fail D: But the water marble was too much fun it didn't matter to me! HAHA! What do you guys think?
