It is time again for another Nailies collab! This time our theme was suggested by Zenna of @themanicuredmissy and it is geometric! There are endless possibilities for this theme and I was quite excited when doing this mani! Anyway, take a look at this month's collage :D

Not all the nailies could join this month's colllab, but it's okay! There's definitely more to come hehe! Alright, now for my close up shot!

I was inspired by two looks that I came across. First it was @littlef218 checkered mani which I found really cool, but I switched the look up with triangles instead. And the second one was @crazypolishes geometric gradient tutorial that I saw on her YouTube channel. I also spiced up the look a little with more prominent black lines to show off more triangles LOL!

Here is a bonus picture! I went for lunch at the west coast of Singapore with my folks and felt that the blue-white gradient was very apt in this setting so I snapped some photos.

I was really happy with the gradient cause I found it looked super cool but also super manageable to do! Also, I used black acrylic paint for all my details which made the drawing a whole lot easier (Y).

Can't wait for the next collab ^^

On the 5th of December, a Friday night, the nailies marked down our calendars for this special meet up cum secret Santa gift exchange. If you have been following me from the early stages of my nail polish discovery, you would remember our very first nailies meet up LAST CHRISTMAS, read more here! Also if you're interested read our second gathering post!

We decided on the similar design for all of our Christmas themed nails. Thumb; freestyle, pointer & pinky; a plain color, middle; reindeer, ring; snowflakes. Just look at all of our creations above, all so cute and pretty! Let's take a look of a close up of each of our manis:

We went to Ang Mo Kio Hub and had dinner at MOF and the food was not bad! I quite liked my beef don. Moving on to the highlight of the meet up - the gift exchange! I was actually Janice's secret Santa however she was unavailable last minute so I couldn't give my presents to her that day. It's okay, you'll get it in the mail, Janice ^^

And as a receiver, my secret Santa was the bubbly Karen! She got me Ciate cavier manicure set *gasps* I was stunned when I opened it! Thank you so much Karen :D Also, that cute little packaging beside the Sephora bag is Kathy's homemade brownies that she made for all of us! How sweet of her?! Also, I just tried it and it tastes delicious and yummy (Y) ! Here's also a group picture of us, hehe! It was nice seeing and knowing new members and catching up with the veterans HAHA!

Now, let's move on to part two of this post, my manicure! First, let's have a close up look :)

First up, the two plain colors I chose was a recent purchase from F.U.N. Lacquer called Secret. It is a sparse glitter in a sense that you cannot apply it like normal polish. You must dab on it every time you apply. Although the formula and application was disappointing, I still do adore the teal green glitter polish so very very much!!

As for the cute little reindeer, it was recreated from IG@ohmygoshpolish. She also has a video tutorial and how to achieve this cute design! I used China Glaze - Glistening Snow as the base color, then the reindeer I used Jior Couture - Coffee Run! and OPI - My Vampire Is Buff for the reindeer. As for the red nose I used Zoya - Kimber.

For the intricate snowflakes, I was inspired by IG@jarynails and it was the same snowflake that I did for #nailartchallengedec Day 5. The dark blue base is Jior Couture - I Can Azure You It's Fall and Catrice - Play It Blue.

Let's end this post with a really glittery note! Here I am posing with one of the Christmas decoration that my Mom got for the front gate! This was bought from Daiso, the two-dollar shop! I must say that I totally approve of this red-gold bling bow, so pretty~

Hey there reader!

Yes, I am alive!!! I have been tremendously busy, pressured and stressed with an upcoming major event *wipes off sweat*. Well hey, I still made time to do a little nail art!

This time around it is my turn to create the montly Nailies' collaboration collage~ Anddddd, November's theme is SUGAR RUSH! Basically, any edible thing that is sweeeet, and I went with cute donuts inspired by JauntyJuli on YouTube.

And now, for my close up hehe~ I must say that I need a lot of practice on shadowing and highlighting. I'm not even on the smallest level as compared to JauntyJuli *cries*

I guess I do need more nail art sessions with myself!

However, I do love the colors of the sprinkles! Whatcha think?

Well hello there!

It's been a while, eh? Today I am sharing with you another collab I did with my fellow Nailies! Previously, we did daisy inspired nail art and this month we decided to continue the collab with fruit-themed!

Sadly @ohdreenails could not take part in this month's collab, but it's okay cause there's many more chances!! Here is a collage of our looks, all so cute~

Here is a close up of my mani, I followed OhMyGoshPolish YouTube tutorial and it turned out pretty alright! I also added an accent striped design and am pretty proud of my lines! They've gotten better over time, yay!

I think the best part of this retro style bananas is that the design is not meant to be perfect! The somehow messy jagged outlines brings out the whole retro pop-art feel to it and I like it a lot, plus it's really cute! Don't you think?

Hey reader!

Today I have something different and interesting. It is the Nailies collab! Nailies is a group of Singaporean ladies who have a strong passionate interest in the world of nail polishes and the art. We have grown into a group of TWELVE!

Our theme for today's collaboration is daisies! Here is the collage of our manis done by Priscilla ^^

Looking at the collage makes me feel happy cause of all the designs and colors used *beams*

Here is my mani close up! I used L.A Colors - 63 for the base, a pretty periwinkle creme with hints of shimmer. Uising white polish, I used a small brush and created petals for the daisies. Then for the center of the flower, I used OPI - I Can't Cope-acabana with a small dotting tool.
