Well hello!

Hope everyone is still in the holiday season!! 😉

Today's manicure was unplanned but came out nicely! I had on two coats of piCture pOlish "Winter", I must admit I chose this polish because of its name, how could you blame me right? 😋

I used white polish for all the designs. For the big ol' tree, I just simply use a nail art brush and drew a vertical line for the tree trunk (but more for a skeleton guide for the tree really), adding small strokes coming outwards for the leaves. This turned out better than expected!

For the reindeer on my ring finger, I used BPX-L008 stamping plate for that, easy peasy and looking so great! For the other nails, I did a simple snowfall look. Covered the tips with white and added dots to mimic the snow, perfect!

That my friends, is what I came up for "Winter Wonderland"! Hope you liked it!!

Now for my Christmas nail art, the dark red is OPI "We the Female" and over I did stamping using BPX-L008 plate and with my dearest blue holographic Color Club "Over the Moon" I used that to stamp.

As for my pointer and pink, I used piCture pOlish "Cosmos" and then added a glitter topper from NCLA "Ever After in LA", totally giving the vibe of snowfall! Loving it! 😍 Now for some macro pleasure, here is a close up of the holographic snowflake!

This year really has gone by so quickly, I can't keep up! Anywho, I'm still diggin this manicure, are you?

Can you believe it?! Christmas is coming!

Here I present to you my manicure for today's prompt! The penguins are inspired by elleandish and I added a 3, 2, 1 on the penguins just to make it seem like it's a countdown :P I used Glam Polish "Out of this World" as the base for the pointer and pink nails.

As for the others, I had on my very first owned dark red holographic from Ciruqe Colors called "Ambrosia" and I wrote using a silver acrylic paint for the words.

This came out nicer than expected but I'd say that I could improve more on the wordings LOL!

Today's manicure is straight up simple, nothing fancy! I used Cirque Colors "Winter Bloom" as the base color and then using an image from BPX-L008 plate and using a black stamping polish, that's basically it!

I must say that the base color is so sparkly I'm really loving it!

This Santa and friends prompt arrived late, my apologies! I had just finished with one module today!

Anyway, I'd like to share some exciting news... I WON A GIVEAWAY! Finally after multiple tries in participating in giveaways over the years, I won some nail polishes!! I won the Cirque Colors Holiday 2016 collection and so I decided to use them in today's manicure :D

The base is two coats of HALCYON a super reflective rose gold polish, it's amazing I swear!

Then again with the BPX-L008 from BornPrettyStore, I used the images for the Santa, reindeer, snowman and penguin. For the snowman design, I decided to go over the bottom with some white nail polish to imitate snow on the ground.

I am enjoying the use of this plate so much! I must say I did not regret a Christmas stamping plate!

Today's prompt is Christmas Eats and here are some that I have not really tried before :P
Here I used the candy cane image and house that represented a gingerbread house. I think I have not eaten one before, oooops! I probably did try candy cane once and thought it was too sweet.
Anyway, again I used BPX-L008 plate for the images and for the really pretty swirly design I stamped on my pointer and pinky. For the candy cane and the gingerbread house, I used the reverse stamping technique and used white polish for any clean up on the image.

Oh, and not to forget the pretty grey-blue base polish! This is Scofflaw "I Am The Narwhal". I have swatched it here once!

I'm trying to be on time for this challenge as much as possible so I did these last night! 😉

Here is my manicure for snow and ice theme using piCture pOlish "Cosmos" as the base, a beautiful blue with flakes. Then using BPX-L008 plate I used the snowflake patterned design and the solo snowflake design. Usintg the clear stamper sure did help me out a lot in placing the design on the nail!

Topped off with none other than the HK Girl Glisten & Glow top coat!

Hi there! First off, so sorry I couldn't finish the November challenges :( School caught up with me and I needed to settle them first! But not to worry, I am starting on a December challenge, just one challenge this time LOL! Not gonna try and get ahead of myself :P

The first prompt for #Clairestelle8Christmas is Christmas sweater! Recently I bought my first Christmas stamping plate and I love it! It is BPX-L008 plate and I think I would be using it very often this month! I'm glad that I finally bought my own Christmas plate hehe!

The gorgeous dark purple scattered silver particles is Zoya "Payton" as my base. This was two coats! So pretty right?! I chose the first image on the bottom row of the stamping plate. I stamped on the full design on my middle and ring fingers while the pointer and pinky are the bottom part of the design. I used scotch tape to remove the bits I didn't want on the stamper. I loved how this came out!

It is Christmas day!! How fast that the year is already ending, my gosh!

Today's manicure is easy but with minimal challenges. I am trying out these Christmas decoration pieces which are adorable. Lemme just start off with saying that this wheel of Christmas decorations offers a wide range of intricate designs. From stars to presents to reindeer, oh so jolly!

I decided to go with a dark base since the decorations are in true Christmas spirit gold. I chose B Sqaured Lacquer "Royals" a very gorgeous sparkly purple (swatched here).

Now, I did mentioned that this manicure requires some challenges. What I meant was the application of these decorations, it takes some effort. Because our nails would be naturally curved (some of us curves more) and these metal decorations are flat hence you need to make it curved.

What I did was to bend the metal decorations around my nail art brush so I create like a U shape to the decoration and when applying put a little top coat and adhere it to my nails, that's all!

Today's theme is Santa! I was inspired by a Christmas nail design found from a magazine. The image was from one of Singapore's salons called Manicurious. I followed the design of the Santa.

To add a bit of varation, I did a white and red water marble design which turned out pretty pink in nature LOL.

What do you think of this combination?

Today is the 15th of December and today's theme is GIFTS. Christmas is the season of giving and I love the idea of that ^^ Here is a little gif that is the main inspiration behind today's mani. CUTE CATBUG!! :3

Catbug is my accent design and I used a super tiny nail art brush which I trimmed down to size with a pair of scissors I basically followed the image and with much patience traced out the outlines first and then going in with the details. In case you're wondering the polishes used for Catbug are:

Yellow: OPI - I Just Can’t Cope-acabana

Light Blue: China Glaze - For Audrey

Dark Blue: Essie - Avenue Maintain

Red: Rimmel London - Hip Hop

Purple: Rimmel London - Seduce

As for the other nails, I did a simple present with some glitter (of course!) I painted on a square shape using the polish bottle itself. I used China Glaze - Ray-diant! Then I simple outlined it with black polish and added a cross and added a simple bow at the top.

It's the 12th of December which means two things; (1) my mid semester tests are overrrr (2) it is time for #nailartchallegedec!

Today's challenge is mistletoe. I had to Google exactly how one looks like because in a hot country like Singapore with no seasons at all, I have no idea how a mistletoe looks like! Initially I thought a holly and a mistletoe is the same plant, but no I was wrong.

Here's a diagram to show the difference. Thanks to Google I got my facts right! With that let's move on to today's nail art.

I created a simple polka dots with a-England - Camelot as a black base and then I went in with some dots using a white polish first, then I went over with Charlie's Rad Lacquer - Peace Ain't Easy (swatched here).

As for the mistletoe itself, I dotted on four white dots then over with Peace Ain't Easy, near to my cuticle area and then drew on some leaves using a light green polish Essie - Navigate Her and then did some details with a darker green from Revlon - Trendy.

I realised then that my black base was a bit bare and boring so I went added a touch of glitter using China Galze - Fairy Dust over the black without layering over the mistletoe.

I feel that this design is rather simple yet the sparkly-ness brings out the festive vibe! Did you know the difference between a holly and a mistletoe too? I wonder how many people actually mistook both LOL. Have a jolly day my readers~

Greetings dear reader!

It is day 8 of December, it's getting more festive every single day! Today I have for you a cute little elf!

I came across Pack A Punch Polish's YouTube tutorial and thought that the peeking elf was so cute I had to recreate it. I also made some changes because my base was already a green base so I had white outlines instead. Luckily it did not look too bad!

I also gave Mr Elf some clothes and drew on some nice buttons and a belt! In case you're wondering, the base glitter is F.U.N. Lacquer's Secret which I also used in my previous mani too!

Don't you find Mr Elf cute? Hehe cause I cerntainly do!

Hey there!

It is the fifth of December already! Today's challenge is ❄ snowflakes ❄ I was inspired by two nail artists; IG@judyrox and IG@jarynails. Both of them had a quick tutorial on their IG page. Judyrox created the falling snow with the tips in white, watch it here. Jarynails also had a tutorial for the snowflake accent design you see below, watch her tutorial here.

The base color is Jior Couture - I Can Azure You It's Fall, which I swatched and reviewed here. As for the snow and the snowflake I used my favourite pale blue polish (which sadly has 25% left) Catrice - Play It Blue swatched and reviewed here.

I was really careful when I was doing the snowflake design because I realised that I did not give enough space between the dots and hence the designs in between were rather squeezed. Thankfully, I managed to draw those thin lines in! PHEW! *wipes sweat*

I personally do love this look and combination, thanks to the two ladies whom I re-created the design from :D

Good afternoon!

Today is the first day of the last month of the year! Yes, December the first~ I was tagged last night by IG@glamourouspumps in her challenge she came up with @nailsby_redkoletz. And as I was looking at the first challenge in bed, a design was born there and then!

And that very design was transformed on to my nails, ta-da! Presenting the longest candy cane?! HAHA! I chose an awesome glitter background China Glaze - I Heard That. For the candy cane, I used Chloe and Bella - White Out and OPI - Coca-Cola Red.

I am very very happy with this mani because it came out better than I would think! Hehe, let's see if I can keep up withe challenge becuase it is a challenge as I have tests next week *guilty face*

Hi everyone! In a few hours time I would be heading towards the airport and on my way to Japan! I had my nails done using Sally Hansen Salon Effects (the pretty floral print) and some other designs I did :-) Merry Early Christmas!

Christmas is around the corner! I have made some nail buddies on Instagram, and we are meeting tomorrow for a Christmas gift exchange :D So excitinggg! We decided on (of course) Christmas themed nails for the meet up and here are mine ^^
