Well hi!
I've been pretty busy and haven't done any nail art in a long time... I was glad that Priscilla of
@pobbynails when she asked me to do with her a Mani Swap! I scrolled through her posts and came across her color block nails.
I have never done one before and have been wanting to give it a shot, so here it is! I was glad there wasn't much striping tape mishaps HAHA! Priscilla chose one of my lacey floral designs and she did a really awesome job!
Here's a look at my solo shot! Let me list the polishes that I used:
Blue; Essie - Avenue Maintain
Yellow; OPI - I Can't Cope-acabana
Peach: Revlon - Apricot Nectar
Mint: Sinful Colors - Be Happy
Red: Kure Bazaar - Juicy
Light purple: China Glaze - Light As Air
For this mani I used two coats of Flormar 370, a nicely formulated white. I then added Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat before adding the striping tape.
I then used a small art brush to fill in the colors in the shapes and then ended all with another top coat. I actually do love this geometric look a lot! Tell me what you think!

It's been a while since I did a mani swap, so here's one that I did with Johanna of
@justsimplynaildesigns. She is a really friendly person and also understanding as I was kinda busy on my end.
I looked through all her designs and I found she did an emoji nail art and I on the other hand have yet to try and have been wanting to try them out and so I decided to recreate her design!
She then chose one of my mani that I did last September during the 31 Day Challenge and she did a really nice job with it :) Here's our collage, the originals being at the top and the recreations at the bottom.
Here's my solo shot of the emojis LOL I used OPI - I Can't Cope-acabana as the base and then used different acrylic paints for the faces. As some of you know, acrylic paint can be easily 'erased' using water (provided you already had a top coat on!). I admit the cool dude face on the pinky took me quite a while to get it right!
As my nails are round/oval now I find that the face is rather funny LOL, what do you guys think? :P

Hello there!
Today @glittr and I did a mani swap! She recreated my sunset palm trees mani while I chose her negative sapce gradient nail art. We did not tell each other which we chose, after showing our recreations to each other, Glittr pointed out that both of us coincidentally did a gradient! HAHAHA, how cool's that? Telepathy across the globe! LOL
When I first saw Glittr's mani, I was very interested in the nail art itself, because I would never have thought of negative space and gradient all at once! So that was my main reason for choosing that mani hehe!
So here is the solo shot of my mani swap. I used Essence - Ballerina's Charm, Sinful Colors - Verbena and Rimmel London - Seduce. Colors are according to lightest to darkest purple!
For the triangle, I used NailVinyls straights and right angle vinyls which were very convenient and easy to use!
I actually love this look a lot! Hehe, what do you little readers think?

Hi all!
I have done my very first mani swap with Niki (
IG@khemetian_nails)! I chose her chic black and white vertical stripes with floral patterns while she chose one of my recent manis, the floral patterned one. Here is the collage! (Left side are the originals and the right side are the copies)
And here is my close up shot! I only used OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls as the base and for the flowers and stripes, I used acrylic paints!
Do you like our floral collage? Hehe see you around readers!
