Hello there!
Wow, it's been a while and I have to say the time passes too quickly! It's already August!! Today's post is special because it's Singapore's 52nd Birthday!! Our country's color is red and white so this manicure is themed around these colors.
I didn't want to do those usual stars and moons that are on our flag, instead, I went for a floral design! This manicure was inspired by Chelsea Queen, I thought that the colors went well with Singapore's flag with a pop of yellow, purple and green flowers and leaves.
Here's the list of polishes that I used:
Red: Kure Bazaar "Juicy"
White: Sinful Colors "Snow Me White"
Black: Sinful Colors "Black on Black"
Purple: pa "A167"
Yellow: OPI "I Can't Cope-acabana"
Pink: Essie "Fiji"
Green: Sally Hansen "Blue Streak"
Hope you liked my manicure, I will be back for more designs soon!

MAJULAH SINGAPURA!
That means, Onward Singapore! I am so blessed and glad to be born and raised on the soils of this tiny red dot on the humongous world map.
Unlike any other National Day that I have experienced, this year is very very different. We are celebrating our nation's golden jubilee year, our 50th year of independence! The government has come up with so many events to bring about the #SG50 feels since the start of the year.
Indeed we are a very young nation, but we have achieved so much more in this short span of time that I am so very proud of! Now, enough of my rambling. I have done a collab with a few other Singaporean ladies and we did one just for the fun of celebrating our nation's birthday! I'll have the collage at the end of the post. Right now lemme share with you my manicure :D
The Singapore colors are red and white. I decided to use Dior - Femme-Fleur which is a gorgeous milky white with amazing flashes of pink shimmer and Zoya - Kimber a butiful red with gold flashes.
I did chevron patterns on my pointer and baby fingers using
Chevron Nail Vinyls. As for my middle and ring finger, I had on Kimber as the base and then using Sinful Colors - Snow Me White I drew a crescent moon on my middle finer and five stars on my ring finger. It reflects the Singapore flag.
For the stars, I amended them by going back in with Zoya - Kimber and gave the stars a more pointy tips. And as mentioned earlier this year is the special year so I imitated the SG50 logo that the government have been using on my thumb.
I simply did it by drawing a huge circle using Zoya - Kimber and filling it in then waited for it to dry and drew on the SG50 with Snow Me White. No acrylic paints this time LOL! Here is another shot of my patriotic manicure ;)
Not to forget the macro shot! I wanted to show you guys the shimmers as much as I could through the photos... I'm sorry this was the best I could do T.T IRL the shimmers are so much more stronger!! I basically chose these two because of their strong shimmers :P But I'm gonna regret this decision when I take them off, my whole finger is gonna sparkle like no tomorrow!!
Happy 50th Birthday Singapore!!

Well good morning to all of you!
It is the 9th of August and today is a special day where Singaporeans celebrate the independence of our nation 49 years ago. Hence, today's nail art is dedicated to this flourishing and well-established country of mine (how proud I sound as a Singaporean right there HAHA!).
Today's manicure features the national flag colors, red and white. I used OPI - My Boyfriend Scales Walls and Zoya - Kimber.
I did half-moon manicure on my three fingers while I left my ring accent finger with a water marble design using the same colors. The water marble may turn out to seem like pink and red instead, however I still find it cute tho ^^
Happy National Day to all my Singaporean readers! Have a great weekend ;)

The following days to come, Singapore turns 48! I know we're considered a very young nation compared to the UK or the US. For those foreigners who don't know how the Singapore flag looks like, here's a picture:
So, as you can see, our colors are RED and WHITE.
And with that, I present to you, my patriotic nail art design!
I am quite pleased with myself, spent the entire morning doing this. Turns out pretty cool. I am an amateur, so it isn't surprising to see that my nails aren't perfect. I have actually learnt A LOT to accept imperfections through the many experiences with nail art. So, more pics...
The OPI colors used are as seen below. However, the red polish I tried with my Mom was not this, but Essence Back to the 50s. Like I've mentioned before in my blog post, Essence is really cheap. And hence, when I tried on my Mom's nails, the color smudges over the white star when I put a top coat on. So, instead, I used this OPI Cha-Ching Cherry which was actually my Mom's nail polish that she left it aside in her drawer.
It surely was fun doing this mani!

Hello my friends!
National Day is around the corner (not really actually, but still quite near)! So, I wanted to do some patriotic nails, and I went to do a beta version last night. Just to try it out and make sure it works! Because during the week and the week before National Day I would expect to be busy, with exam study so yeah. Here's how it looks like (:
