Today's polka dots theme is inspired by one of Katy Perry's California Dreams Tour outfits. It is this costume seen below with actual bulbs. It can actually glow! Putting the fangirling aside, let's move on to my mani (:

Ta-da! A very simple yellow, blue and red dotticure with a white base. Polishes used are: OPI - I Can't cope-abana, Essie - Avenue Maintain & Revlon - China Flower.

The dots somehow reminds me of candies, LOL! What do you think of this look?

Hey there!

I have the second installment of the Katy Perry Inspired Nail Art Series, THIS IS HOW WE DO! This song is Katy Perry's recent new single off her album PRISM. Watch the video below:

The video is so cuteee right? Hehehe! Anyway, for today's INAS, the inspiration is these four cartoon characters that appear at the end of the video. Here's a picture that I did to show the characters ^^

And... I present to you my final This Is How We Do manicure look!

Ya know what guys? I have actually filmed on how to create this nail art BUT I have yet to find time and edit the video :( I have been superbly busy these few weeks with exams coming up and all! Fret not, I will definitely deliver this video to you! Just be patient and wait for my update of the video (:

Totally sapzzing!! I was so so happy and yeah I was so shocked!! This meant she SAW, FREAKING SAW MY NAILS! Okay I should stop fangirling since this is actually my nails only blog HAHA!

Well well well... This is my second blog post of the day, oooops! As many of you might know, I am a KatyCat. And by KatyCat I mean a really hardcore one. I have 12 Katy Perry magazines, and not including all those newspaper cut-outs too. So yes, evidently, my room is overwhelmed by Katy's presence. Recently, she release a new single, Dark Horse. A very catchy song, and one that I have been eyeing on for a while. At last, the music video is here! And oh you know Katy, she's also a nail girl ;) Watch her video below!

So, I did the homework, and took some screen grabs from the video! Here are the three shots:

I wanted to combine all three nail ideas and here is my version (: I twisted the look a bit, added a matte topcoat to the entire design. Loving the matte tbh!

This was actually my first try at the cartoon/outlined mani. It was pretty easy to do, just need some steady hands! Oh, and I used the brush from BPS and as I was washing it, all the bristles fell off into the sink. And I was like ughhhhhhhhh. I'm gonna invest in a really good one next time!! Anyway, continuing with the gorgeous pictures...

This by far is my proudest nail art I've ever done, because it IS the first mani that I came up with truly based on an inspiration. Easy dotting and then drawing some roses over it, super love this one! (KATYCAT FOR LIFE)

Hello friends, if you do not already know, I am a HUGE Katy Perry fan. So, she announced that her first single of PRISM would be Roar and it will come out Aug 12 2013. Hence I decided to make a mani for ROAR, in hope that she will retweet me or something.

So I did a simple nail art design, just the words on the left hand and some designs on the right.

After finishing the left hand, I took some pictures and spammed Katy while waiting in between for my right hand to dry up. Here is the right hand with random designs:
