Hello there!

For one of my Christmas presents, I received this really adorable and lovely Cath Kidston wallet which was totally my style so I really like it!!

It was of good timing that I was sent these floral water decals from bornprettystore which matched very well with my wallet. I was impressed that these decals that I used did not need a base of any sort, I simply placed them over my nails and cleaned up around and I was done!!

Then for my pointer and pinky, I did a black and white chevron using bornprettystore's new chevron tape which comes in the similar packaging to a striping tape which I found quite cute! I simply did a white base and then placed the stickers and then went over with a black polish.

You can see how I did this manicure with ease in a video tutorial which I will put into this blog post after I have posted it on Instagram :)

Hi there!

Today I have something aside from the A to Z challenge. I am reviewing two products from bornprettystore.com. Firstly is this really pretty paisley intricate design water decal and second is the liquid latex barrier.

I have always always wanted to try the liquid latex barrier ever since it came out in the nail world but I just never got around getting one so here I am today trying one from BPS.

So the water decal is really nice like I mentioned the design is really pretty and there was a lot of the product which was really nice and they had two designs in one sheet which was cool.

For the liquid latex, it was meant to be put around your cuticles to minimize clean up. The very very first time I tried using it, I had a lot of difficulty removing it. The latex barrier wouldn't peel off in one nice piece which was what I was expecting.

I then realised it was because I applied it too thinly around my cuticles. So, lesson learnt girls!

To demonstrate how it works best, I did water marbling. I used the similar colors as the paisley design on the water decals. I used Sally Hansen "Dive In", Miss Sporty "Purple Romance" and OPI "My Boyfriend Scales Walls".

Surprise!! I do have a video on how the liquid latex and water decal performed! Tbh I had quite a lot of problems with the liquid latex and it had a funny smell LOL. Did yours had it too? Lemme know 😂😂

item was sent for review Hey there! Amidst the #A2Z challenge, I have a tutorial too! Today I am sharing with you a nail art look I came up with using BornPrettyStore's water decals (pattern C134) that I picked out. It is only about a dollar and I felt that it was an easy way to glam up your nails but also personalizing it as much as you want! So this was how my manicure turned out and I really do love it! To begin with I chose the pattern I loved the most which was already awesome. Then I changed up my look by cutting pieces of the decal and placing them on my tips. You'll see how I did them in my video tutorial below!

Some close up shots for you to see how the decals look like. I feel that it is really nice as it does not look at all too pixelated. I did find this manicure very refreshing. Maybe because it's all blue LOL!

I had on two coats of OPI "My Boyfriend Scales Walls" on all my nails. To use the water decals, cut out two pieces big enough to cover full nails for your pointer and pinky. Dip it into water for 20 seconds then slide the decal off the backing between your fingertips. Then place the two decals over your nails fully and use a brush and nail polish remover to remove any excess decal.For the middle and ring fingers, cut out pieces of the decal following the lines of the pattern and then place it on the tips of your nails. Again, remove any excess with nail polish remover. You could use scissors too if you'd like too! End off everything with a good top coat and you're done! So easy right? Good evening all!

I have a rather interesting mani for you today! I am using BornPrettyStore.com's Road Map Water Decal and it's really easy to use. Simply cut out the design you want and then dip it into water for about 10 seconds and slide it between your fingers. Place it nicely on your nail and use a cotton bud to smooth it out.

Adding more fun to my nail art, I used black acrylic paint and a thin nail art brush and wrote free-handed the word, 'travel' across my middle and ring finger in cursive. I had on two coats of Dior - Incognito, a really pretty classy dusty pink nude.

I felt that the decals were really fun to use and easy to use too. You guys should try it out, use my code for a 10% off !

It has come to the last challenge of the #glamnailschallenge, and the prompt for today is GALAXY! I was inspired by the ever so talented Tamra of IG@ohmygoshpolish and in particular this mani which she also did a video tutorial on.

I followed her tutorial and this is my outcome :P

For my pointer and pinky finger I had two coats of piCture pOlish - Cosmos and then one coat of Pretty Serious - Twinkling Lights. For my middle and ring finger I had two coats of L.A. Colors - 63 and then did my water marble over it.

I don't know if my water marble pattern looks like a galaxy or not :P So I also drew on some white stars and dots together with some of the copper glitter from Twinkling Lights that I placed individually over the water marble.

As for the orange-yellow spots I mixed Fired Up and I Can't Cope-acabana to get a mix of orange and yellow and used a dotting tool to create it.

As for the water marble I used these polishes pictured. I'll just list them down for your reference :)

Hello my friends! Today I have something very special! I was given the opportunity by BornPrettyStore to review a few of their products and today I am sharing with you a floral pattern water decal PLUS a nail art tutorial!

Firstly, I am reviewing the Nail Art Water Decals Transfer Stickers Fantastic Floral Pattern Sticker pattern SH10. I chose this pattern because I do like that soft look as seen below.

I have mentioned BornPrettyStore (BPS) in my other posts before and for some of you that didn't know, BPS gives free worldwide shipping and affordable/lower prices on a whole range of nail polishes to tools and other stuffs like accessories. BPS ships from Hong Kong, as I am in Singapore it takes an average of two weeks to reach me. Alright, enough of intro, let's get started with the tutorial!

Let's take a look at what we're going to do today. Here's the finished look of my manicure and what you could easily do with the water decal.

First off, start with a base coat and then apply two coats of a nude polish. I chose Butter London's Cuppa as it is such a soft shade and would go well of the soft floral patterns too. Then, remove the protective plastic from the decal.

Next, roughly make some markings to indicate the length of your nail and the cut out a triangle shape. If you're unsure about what I mean, do take a look at my YouTube video embedded below (: Then simply dip the decal using a tweezer into water and wait 20 seconds.

After that, carefully place it on your pointer finger and slide the decal out using your thumb. Before placing the decal, wet the nail you want to place the decal on. Take the decal using a tweezer and place the triangle cut-out onto your nail. You can also wet your other fingers so that you can easily adjust the position of the decal.

You may encounter a problem when your decal is over your cuticles (especially your pinky as it is smaller). Not to worry, I got this covered for you. Apply a top coat over your nail, despite the decal over your cuticles - just trust me on this one. Let the top coat dry.

Lastly, go back in with a brush with nail polish remover and remove the excess decal over the cuticles and clean around them too. And, ta-daa!

Now, talking about product. The decal is 5.5cm and 6.5cm in size, it seemed like a small patch of floral design (as you can see in the video). I am doubtful if one piece is able to use for all 10 nails fully.

However, I feel that it is better used as a part of a nail art. Like what I have done above, the soft pattern did bring out the life of a nude polish. Plus, I love the subtle colors of the print and details too. The water decal also allows you to choose which part of the pattern you want on your nail. It also very versatile as you can decide to do whatever design you want! From stripes, to wavy lines, to different shapes. The sky's the limit!

The decal was super easy to use. I would definitely recommend beginners to try water decals like this as it is simple and fast. Hassle free (:
