Hello there!

It's time to show off some bling bling! Today I chose to do a Queen theme for the letter 'Q'. Now, I needed to have the most shiny bright in-your-face polish because I guess that's how a Queen feels like, bold and confident! 

So I chose without much hesitation, Chloe and Bella "Titanium" which is a strong silver reflective flakie which I was sent a long time ago for review. I also used a dark blue shade from Kure Bazaar called "Queen" (how apt right??) for the base color of my pointer and baby finger.

For the pointer and baby fingers, I had on two coats of "Queen" and then wiped most of "Titanium" from the brush and lightly stroke the flakies over the blue. I didn't want to have to much because my middle and ring fingers had on a full base, three coats of "Titanium" as the base.

For the two images, I did reverse stamping with BornPrettyStore.com's BP L007, which was also sent for review a long time ago. I used Konad Black stamping polish to do this. I did normal stamping but I didn't transfer the image, instead I added a layer of top coat over the image on the stamper after letting it dry for a while. 

Then after a minimum of 45 minutes, I peeled them off and placed them on my nails using Glisten & Glow "HK Girl Top Coat" but using very little product to stick the decal onto my nails.

Dragon's Breath has a really nice formula for a flakie. Unlike Titanium (reviewed here), the formula is much thinner and is easier to work with as compared to Titanium. Coverage-wise, Titanium would be better. 

Now, for the amazing colors... It has strong vibrant purples, some blues and greens here and there. It also has that few silver reflective falkies similar to Titanium. Dragon's Breath is understandably less reflective than Titanium since it has a bomb of colors.

Well, I'm back with more Chloe and Bella polishes! Today I have something really unique to my stash :D *excited*

Introducing the bottle macro shot of TITANIUM.

Before I start off, I would like to rant a teeny bit. My DSLR isn't working *sobs* it doesn't auto focus and it sucks D: I resorted to my Dad's decent enough compact camera for these swatches. I feel like I owe so much more to Titanium and Barbara (owner of C&S). *cries again* I hope these swatches are okay, although to me the standard is not met :/

Okay rant over, now let's start with this amazing polish!

Titanium is a strong, dense silver falkie which only needs two good coats to actually cover the bare nail. It is SO reflective! I could see the reflection of my camera when I was taking pictures. You could see it more clearly on my macro shots!

As you can see, that white reflection near the cuticle is my phone HAHA!

The formula of Titanium is a bit thick, however application was not hard at all. However when painting on flakies, I would suggest that you don't go too near the cuticles cause clean up is imaginably a nightmare! We don't want that right? :P

You may realise in this macro shot that you could see some of my naked nail underneath. But tbh, it is not visible IRL. I mean, it is already so shiny no one would ever notice! They would notice that reflective nail that these small minor gaps, right? So, I felt that this wasn't much of a problem. You could always go for full coverage on a third coat (:

Hi there readers!

Amid the many nail art going on, here's a break from that and time for some swatches! I was sent a few Chloe and Bella polishes and was really excited to try them out :D This brand will not be a surprise to you as I had tried a lot of Barbara's polishes and I do love them.

Today, I will be sharing with you this beautiful polsh, Azure. 

Azure is a really interesting polish. It has a milky blue with a tinge of gray base. What is even more interesting is that there are pretty little shimmers in purple, pink and blue, they are really so pretty. Look at the macro bottle shot!!

I find that Azure leans more gray on my skin tone than more blue that I hoped for. Nonetheless, I very much like the grey-blue color, which I feel is my next fave color to blues LOL.

The shimmer is really really subtle. I had to bring my nails real close to my eyes to see the color shift. This may be a plus or minus point, depending on you. If you enjoy subtle not-over-the-top shimmers this is definitely the soft look for you. But if you enjoy in-the-face sparkly color shift then I might direct you to two other polishes from the same brand (link to come!).

It's October already and this calls for the Halloween season! I'm pretty sure around this time you're reading this you've seen pumpkins and scary masks in shopping malls.

Today I am here to show you Chloe and Bella's latest 2014 Halloween Collection. There are three polishes in this collection and I will show you all! Here's a sneak peak macro shot of the polishes hehehe!

First up is GOPHER GUTS.

Gopher Guts has an amazingly captivating holo-shimmery green somewhat jelly base. I do not normally like straight out greens much but I must admit this was an exception. I'll tell you why in a bit!

GG has black and dark teal small hexagon pieces and dark foresty green triangles. The best part about GG is that the glitter pieces are holo and not to mention the big pieces of dark green round glitter! That's why I love this green! As you can see in my macro shots, the holo-ness truly captivates me.

Below is GG in one, two and three coats (without top coat).

GG's formula was great and easy to work with, application too was a breeze. The coverage needs a little more since it is a jelly base, I do recommend going for three coats (as you can see from above). However, it is entirely up to you if you prefer two or three.

The swatches below are in two coats and topped off with Crystal Clear top coat, also one of Chloe and Bella's product.

As the base of GG is jelly-like, it is quite evident that on the tips it is a little sheer. Nonetheless, I do love this whole combination. This picture below is not very forgiving, it has been hazy in Singapore and the sun isn't cooperating. But, fret not *winks*

For once, I preferred a swatch under artificial lighting! Now, this picture shows the true beauty of GG. Look at the amount of green shimmer and the holo shown off from the glitter pieces.

Here is a macro shot just for you! This is my favourite picture of all *drools* I do have a thing for macros hehehe :P This picture even captures the holo shimmer and holo glitters! LOVE!

Next, I have for you, BIRDY FEET!

BF has a red-leaning orange sheer base color. The combination of the base color and glitters can instantly remind anyone of Halloween. BF is easily my favorite of the trio.

It has micro tiny sized square red and gold pieces, small black hexagons and small gold square pieces. There seems to be only a few types of glitter pieces in BF but I think that is sufficient!

The formula was the best! The application was easy and flowy. Although the base orangey base is a little sheer, doing two or three coats will suffice. The amount of glitter payoff is of no worries. You can totally trust on Chloe and Bella's glitters, they're too good!

The black, gold, red and orange just brings the whole polish together into the festive Halloween feel. The sheer base allows for the layer of glitters to show through, similar to Monkey Meat (continue reading!)

As you can see in the macro, the gold and orange just smashes just right! I love all the glitters in this one! HEHEHE!

MM has an interesting jelly brown-caramel base with lots and lots of glitter. There's medium-szied dark dusty red diamonds, round and small square pieces. And then there's black small hexagon glitters together with my favorite glitter piece of MM, the small gold-yellow round glitter!

Here is MM in one, two and three coats (without top coat) :

MM has a slightly thicker formula due to the amount of glitters it carries. The base jelly brown-caramel is rather patchy on the first coat but evens out by the second. When I first applied MM, I found that the whole color combination is like a subtle glitter polish.

Due to the base color in the spectrum of nude, this polish seemed like a ninja glitter polish, I hope you get what I mean HAHA!

The application was rather good, some dabbing is needed to spread the glitter out.

As you can see, the red glitter pieces brings out the base color very well and my favourite gold-yellow round glitter brings out the extra depth to the color. I just love this combination very much. Plus, I do have a thing for round glitters *blushes*

Here is a close-up macro shot of MM. Look at the round gitter!!! Just stare a bit longer! Sometimes I feel like it has a bit of color shift in the round glitter, LOL. Also, because of the jelly base, it somewhat covers the first coat of glitter but allowing some to peek through, which is really cool!

Well hello there, surprise surprise! There's more of Chloe and Bella polishes for you! Today I am introducing to you The Basics Trio. This set includes a black and white polish plus a top coat. I was quite excited to try them as blacks and whites are the staple (hence the name basics) of nail polish enthusiasts.

However though these two colors are the staple, there are not many great ones out there. So let me show you how they performed *winks*

As you can see in the swatch outdoors, Crystal Clear top coat has enabled my nails to see the reflection of my apartment. Look at the level of glossiness right there. Even under artificial lighting (above) you can see my lamp very clearly.

White Out is a pure white, which is again a one-coater, A+ polish just like Black Out. The only difference was that it has a classic creme formula.

The application was butterly smooth and was such an ease! The opacity is needless to say since the swatch is again one coat with Crystal Clear top coat.

Moving on to the Crystal Clear top coat. On Chloe and Bella's website it states that:

"Crystal Clear Top Coat is just that, a completely clear and super-shiny top coat that will properly finish off your nail polish application. While not technically a 'fast dry' top coat, Crystal Clear is on the thin side, which aids to speed up the dry time to make it faster drying than many other top coats."
